We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique hanging candle holder chandelier. This is an old piece which has been hand forged. It has a substantial frame with a unique, heart shaped lower finial. The candle holders have visible folds which add to the hand made character. The fixture holder four standard taper candles. It has a heavy iron chain which leads to the upper finial as well as several inches of chain for hanging. It is in very good condition with an aged/rusted patina. This is a very large candelabra with fantastic character. The piece is 28" in diameter and 30" in height from the bottom of the heart finial to the top canopy. ANTIQUE VINTAGE ARTS CRAFTS RED WOOD TOLE PRIMITIVE RUSTIC COUNTRY CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage chandelier. This unique fixture features a red painted wood body which is a combination of block and turned wood. There are four arms which extend out from the body and curve upward. Behind each of the arms is a large. Tole, tin reflector with a pie crust edge detail. The bobeches are simple, in a candle stick fashion. A long down rod finishes the chandelier. All of the metal on the fixture has a gold gilded finish. This is a lovely chandelier which has an abundance of charm and character. It is in very good condition with some very minor wear to the gilded finish. The wiring is vintage but in good condition. Antique old cast iron wall primitive lamp fixture light
This is an old primitive cast iron brass wall light. Is in found condition. Sold as is. Wiring is cut. It measures 7.5" tall and 8" deep. Where it attaches to the wall is 5" in diameter and where a bulb would go is 3.5" in diameter. Has original brown paint on it but is peeling. Very heavy duty and old looking. Antique primitive brass candle chandelier up for auction. I wish it was marked. I know it is old. But don't know exact age or style. The arrow reminds me of a Colonial style. The crown feathery leafy thing makes me think French. Please e-mail if known, love the history part of this. It is all brass. It would be great for a person to re-do. It needs some arms. It holds five arms but only two are present. The two there are just rotating there, not loose and free but not tight. The arrow shaft is not straight on top or bottom. Maybe someone tried to repair, I see some solder in places. The ball only has one dent and some scratching. Please check pictures good. This Antique French Country rustic wall sconce made of wood and wrought iron with faux candles holder covers is part of this liquidation in history. They were previously wired according to French standards, but I have replaced them with more modern safe American standard candle bulb parts& wires. I do not know what kind of wood the back plates are made of and they may have possibly been added at a later date when the wiring was installed on the iron pieces. Not for sure on this and just my personal thoughts. They are in excellent antique condition showing some light to medium rust patina from having been kept in storage in a barn. The main body of the sconces are made of a pressed and soldered thick gauge tin, with a grayish silver painted finish. Possibly a Zinc coated finish. Both haveing numerous areas of rust. Well made, well constructed, although primitive looking with numerous flaws. The concave mirror surface is slightly warp/twisted, maybe a little out of round. Antique PRIMITIVE Toleware Iron Candleholder Wall Sconce
CONDITION: Used- good condition considering age- but does have rust due to age. All over surface. Wonderful ORIGINAL condition. Original or reproduction: Original. Material: iron metal. Maker: unknown. Region where it originated: It was purchased from an old PA. farm estate sale- perhaps it originated in PA- hand forged by a PA blacksmith? Color: BLACK iron- has gilded gold trim around drip trays and the center design circle- also. On the inside around the top edge of the holder. The circle in the center is painted teal blue. Size: 7" High. 6" candle center to candle center. Style: Primitive Toleware CANDLEHOLDER sconce. Painted Motif: This sconce DOES NOT have any painted motif. DESCRIPTION: It's wonderful. I've never seen another one like it. RARE! The candleholder arms are beautifully twisted wrought iron. Probably done ... moreby a blacksmith. It has an interesting attached handcut reflector/mounting plate made with scalloped edges on top and bottom. The candleholders have rolled-under drip cups with lovely ruffled tops. Pair of Antique Wooden Iron Wall Candle Sconces Rustic Folk Lighting Primitive
Pair of antique wall sconces Wooden(presumably pine) Wrought iron candle holder; stamped BS8840. Description revised to add dimensions: 16"T. 7"L, 3.25"W. Please review the photos as they are the primary description for these sconces. My grandfather had them hanging in his shop for at least 35 years and I know they were given to him by my great grandfather. I have tried to research the style. Wood and stamp. My best assumption based on their primitive design with stamp is early to mid 1800's although I cannot guarantee this.
