Antique Ornate Cast Iron Hanging Chandelier Victorian Art Deco (5) Light
Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. All of the cast iron is in good shape but could use a paint job. Basically the more effort YOU put into this piece the nicer product you will have. Item is being sold 100% AS-IS. This listing is for an authentic vintage antique light fixture. This is a large ornate chandelier style fixture. With five lights. Frame is heavy strap steel, ornamental panels are made of cast iron, as are bottom and top fittings. Floral bolt embellishments are pressed steel, ceiling cap and light sockets are brass. It measures 22" in length, excluding ceiling cap and top tubing. It measure 17" in diameter. It is a used fixture, and is in as found condition. It will need to be re-wired for use. It is missing one of the light bulb sockets, swing pendant on bottom, and set screw on ceiling cap. There are two splits in bottom ring of ceiling cap, but it is still very useable. The small flowers at bolts show paint loss. Cast iron parts, and ceiling cap retain good old paint. Fixture is otherwise in good used condition, and should restore ... moreeasily. There are no bends, breaks, pitting, batters, or repair. This fixture is close to the usps size limits. And may ship with some dismantling. Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! These are a pair of antique Moe Bridges wall sconces in Excellent Condition. These date from the 1920's Made in Milwaukee. Wisconsin Made of cast iron. Tubing is brass These have been partially rewired. The switches are original and can be wired in or left out. The nuts that hold sconce to wall are missing. Candelabra sleeves are not original. Each sconce has the marking"VM" or possibly"VCM" in the bowl and the numbers"6-1" There is no damage that I could see to either. They are approximately 12" long and 10" high. The bowls that holds the oil lamp or candle have a diameter of 5" at the top and just over 3.5" on the bottom. The bowls have a height of just over 2" Neither sconce includes mounting hardware. Rare Ornate Antique Cast Iron Gas Town City Street Light Lamp Post Bracket
Here is a great RARE antique cast iron gas street light bracket. It may also have been mounted to the side of a building. Either way it is very unique and rare. It measures a total of about 19" from top to bottom and 7" in diameter across the top. The bottom rod that sticks out is about 5" long. Overall it is great shape. It obviously needs cleaned up. The top removable round"disc" is slightly bent and will need straightening. I am not sure how the other two"discs" fit on. They may be the base and trim piece for a pole. Up for your consideration I have this beautiful wedding cake 4 tier chandelier. This one originated in a old movie theater in upstate New York. Its been repainted antique gold and has been rewired. Every single crystal was hand washed. Some of the crystals do have chips/ nicks. This fixture has two sockets to provide ample light for a bigger room. Picture 5 shows how we set up the mounting gear to hang the light. This chandelier is pretty heavy made of cast iron, the relief and detail in the iron is really stunning. There are somewhere around 115 crystals total none are missing. The upper most tire has a longer crystal size. The fixture is 21 inches wide, the inner diameter is 10 inches and it hangs down about 15 inches. The spoke that would be the piece that fits into the missing holder is 1/2"W around. The whole thing is 6 3/4"L x 9"D from the back of the spoke to the front of the basket. Made to either hold an oil lamp. Light sconce of some kind. Now would work for a pillar candle or even as a planter holder. Would look stunning with a hanging, flowering plant hanging over the sides. The plant would have to be in a pot that would fit inside the basket. The basket is 1 1/2"H and 3 1/2"W on the bottom inside where the pot or candle would rest. So the bottom of whatever you put in it would have to be 3" to 3 1/2"W. The main ring is missing two bridges, but they are directly opposite, so it is not a glaring loss, and still presentable. It seems to be made of cast metal? steel? and measures 11 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide. The turn switch is right under the bulb holder and it says P&S on it and seems to be in turning working condition. On the socket it looks to read 250VV 50V PAT'D JULY 1909 read through a loop. It does have a couple of very minor small places with very light paint loss. I don't see a makers mark on the back. I don't know if it works as it hasn't been tested so it might need to be updated for good working condition. It would make a nice piece to add charm to your antique or vintage home or projects. They both have original paint. The undersides are the same. I imagine these handpainted by an artist with many colors. Fantastic! No chips,cracks, defects. They will need refitting with up to date bulb sockets. They are 12 inches across and 3 inches deep, weigh close to 5 1/2 lbs each. This is a stunning high quality antique solid cast iron Gothic electric chandelier. It is made with an abundance of intricate ornate detailing. Made of thick iron, and is extremely heavy. it has acquired a wonderful patina from age and has a beautifully textured/hammered finish. it has a nice bronzed finish with several colored embellishments. it has 5 very detailed arms and each holds a generic sized bulb. they have ornate socket covers that match the chandelier and topped with painted brass ball topped finials. the chandelier mounts flush to the ceiling with the large ornate canopy which is mounted to the rest of the chandelier. so it does not dangle it is a stationary chandelier. the piece measures 18 1/2 inches tall by 17 3/4 inches wide. it is in nice shape. It is wired but the wiring wrapping is peeling in some areas. could prob use ... moresome replacement wiring but is all exposed and would be simple to run. STUNNING ANTIQUE vintage cast iron chandelier fixture UNIQUE ORNATE gothic RARE
This is a gorgeous candelabra style 5 ight fixture- probably cast iron because it's so heavy. But not sure exactly. The styling is unusual- almost an old Spanish feel but with large organic or floral features making a"cage" at the top. As mentioned in the item condition, there isn't a matching gold canopy, but I will include the one I bought to go with this one. There is a finial included and a couple more parts, but I'm not sure how it goes. As is, the light is lovely, so whatever anyone does to it, it'll be a great looking light. I like the bases for the"candles" and how they have a drip spout thing on them. I don't know the age of the light, there aren't markings as far as I can tell. Made of heavy cast iron. Most all of the cast components have some design cast into them. Not just a heavy cast fixture. But nice ornate light. Would look great in the kitchen or dining room. I am sure it is very old. The arms and base are held in by slotted screws from the inside. The cieling mount and chain are not original to the piece and are newer. It has very little paint loss and very little surface rust.It will need to be rewired. I did plug the wires into an extension cord and they all light up. Probably should have new bulbs too. The fixture is about 12 inches and 18 inches diameter at the lamp holders. It is about 18 inches tall.
