This is a vintage 1915-1925 hand painted glass ceiling light globe in wonderful condition. The exterior has been hand painted with a rural scen e. One side depicts a farm setting with house and barn with trees; the opposite sho ws a road curving through trees. The two scenes are separated by water with a likeness of a sail boat on the surface and hills in th e distant background. The glass itself is frosted over a co arse surface that reminds one of ice-chipped glass. The paint has no loss and the colors are rich and vibrant still. There is one thin fitter c hip that barely breaks the surface of the edge and would never show. The globe about 12"W X 6-6.5" H with a 10" fitter. The site next reopened in 1889 after purchase by the America Lamp and Brass Company and became known as Clark Brothers Glass Company. The firm reorganized in 1905 as the Elwood City Glass Company. This helps us date our example to the period of 1889 to 1905 nicely. Gorgeous. O utstanding condition for hand painted glass shade and font with a beautiful scene front and back of a lovely Victorian lady boating in a pond.a family of swans at the shore. Matching kerosene or oil font carries a repeat of the flowers and blossoms created on the domed shade.white frit accents the shade scene. Antique B&H Victorian Hanging Oil Lamp Light Parlor Hand Painted Shade Prisms
Up for auction is a very nice B&H Victorian Parlor or Library Hanging Oil Lamp with hand painted shade and pull down mechanism. The color on this shade is a very beautiful blue/green with rose motif. I have purposely left the brass unpolished as the buyer may want to leave the patina. I am not sure if all the parts which usually come with this brand and style of light are all present. I have tried to take adequate photos but if you require more or additional explanation. Please feel free to message me. It is up to the buyer to know whether the light is complete. I know that it hangs there and lights up and does a great job of looking gorgeous. Beyond that there are a couple issues which I will let you know about. I noticed the pull down weight extension mechanism tends to let the light"droop" I'm sure this is just a matter ... moreof some type of adjustment and is not serious. The ring between the mechanism and the lamp does not want to seem to balance so it is horizontal. Since I do not usually deal in these, I'm not sure what this needs to make it straight. May also be something very simple. The actual oil lamp is a hobnail reproduction. There may be something more suitable out there that should go with this fixture. The shade has an irregular flat spot around the large rim which you can see in the photos. This does not affect it being able to fit in the ring and it is not visible unless it is removed from the ring. There are no cracks or chips in the shade but some of the gold paint has worn off a bit. All the prisms appear to be present but they could use a good polishing. This lamp will be insured by the buyer for shipment and will be packaged meticulously.

Antique Art Nouveau Hand Painted Frosted Glass Hanging Dome Fixture c-1930's
Here you are bidding on a"Antique Art Nouveau Hanging Glass Fixture" It is a hand painted frosted glass that has a crackle look to it. It is a torpedo like shaped fixture that has hand painted lines through it that form a check like pattern. It has a brass top and hanging chain on it. It measures 11 inches from the brass hook on its top to the pointed shaped bottom. It is about 4 1/2 inches at its widest part. Circa 1930's. This item is in very good condition with the exception being a'dent' on the top part of the glass dome. Not sure if it could have been from it being blown glass or not but its more like a melt then anything else and its a b out a 1/2 inch wide. That said it is'not' noticeable when its hanging as it is on the top of the dome. Otherwise its in very good condition and need only cleaning and a ... morere wiring. Depending on how you choose to use it. I have 2 other matching domes both in very good condition and both'without' the melted dent. This is a wonderful fixture for a farm house or for any other vintage décor setting. The shade is 13 inches at the bottom and 4 ½” at the top. The fixture is 4 ½” where it fits the globe and 5” at ceiling mount. This is hand painted in browns and greens. The color of the globe is hard to describe but is between a yellow and gold. This incredibly beautiful antique light fixture. Which is in perfect condition. Is a marvel to behold. From the off-white color of the globe to the individually hand-painted flowers. This is one gem of an antique. As natural light cascades through the windows and lands upon the fixture. Highlighted are the individual flowers- from blue to pink to orange to yellow- each hue in the flowers are allowed to be displayed in a unique way. I recommend that this antique fixture be placed in a well-lit area with windows. So that each flower's color may be highlighted by natural light. The light is 14" across at its widest point.
