All new modern sockets and wiring but with high quality brass casting and design. This is a large fixture and the pictures may not convey the scale. It measures 63" tall x 33" wide. It is perfect for a Victorian entryway or stairway. You would need tall ceilings for this one. Check out the pictures. The detail is beautiful. Cast Griffins and torches are right out of the 1800's. This fixture is not marked but in excellent condition. The 5 brass arms have gas key turns and nice solid brass shade holders in a period style. Shades are hand tooled glass. The design on each shades is of flowers and trees repeating around the base. The shades are French and marked"CVV Vienna and Made in France" They have a wonderful blue tint at the ruffle rimmed top. Each measures 8 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall. Perfect scale for this size chandelier. This is an incredible and elegant brass chandelier that if wired to a wall dimmer switch would create wonderful lighting in any room. It would be a stunning focal point to a grand parlor. This is an antique 1920s nickel plated unmarked lantern with a mica shade. Lamp measures 14" tall x 6" in diameter. Mica shade has some damage(see pics) The lantern has a match lighting generator. 19th century brass antique lighting pipe tube for a gas chandelier fixture lamp
Up for auction is a antique gas lighting pipe tube part. This pipes/tubes was recently discover in the attic of a house with other lighting parts. I am not sure what happened to the rest of the fixture. These are great for restoring a gas fixture or modifying. Commonly used to drop the height(incresing the over length) of a gas chandelier. I have not polished it and only wiped them from dust. I have not removed any of the original patina. This pipe/tube can be bent. Cut, threaded, welded, etc. It is made from brass(possible bronze or tin with a brass finish) and measures 11 7/8" inches in length. With a outside diameter of 3/4" inches. Antique porcelain service station light gas station lamp lighting
Vintage porcelain gas station light fixture. It doe not have any dents. But there is some rust, there are rust holes near the socket, but the bolt holes are still there for the socket. There is also a hole near the socket, all of this is shown in the pictures. It is 14" across, and 4" deep. There is some white paint splattered on the top that I did not try and remove, so I would not damage the finish. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge. Antique STANDARD GILLETT LIGHT CO Gas Lighting Tank w Vintage Steam Gauge Punk
Heavy antique fuel tank with cool old decal on front that reads"Standard Lighting System. Simplicity, Manufactured by the Standard Gillett Light Co, Chicago, Ill, USA" Has a nice old pressure gauge on top, also marked to The Standard-Gillett Light Co. Overall height including gauge is 28" and the tank is 8 1/2" in diameter. Most of you who have found this know what hollow wire lighting is, if not, you can google it and find great photos of these old tanks and interior lights. Research tells me Standard-Gillett was purchased by the National Stamping and Electric Works around 1912, so I believe this tank dates prior to that. Paint has scratches as shown but the decal is still decent- pictures a little girl using a bicycle-type pump to pressurize the tank(no doubt to prove just how safe this system was! There is a very light ... moredent under the big scratch over the light fixture on the decal. Tank is missing it's cap but the pressure gauge is very nice(other than a small ding) and has a nickel-plated brass ring holding the glass lens. Shutoff valve is a little bent, but still works freely. There is a light bend to the bottom ring on the front and another dent near the riveted seam on the back. There are two small holes on the bottom but some sharp knuckle taps found no weak spots so I'd say it could be repaired if desired. A very nice thing that took 20 years of auctions for me to find. I will sell the gauge separately if I can get it off without breaking it. Shipping would obviously be less for just the gauge. This weighs about 11 lbs and will take a large box to safely package. Shipping may be less if you live in the midwest and any significant shipping overcharge will be refunded.

Antique Gas Lamp Lighting Stick. Great shape
Here is a real neat item from the gas-light era. It is an antique tool used to light gas lamps. It consists of a valve key with wax-covered wick on long handle. The slot on the end would be used to turn on the gas valve and the wick would light the flame. Wick slides in and out with small thumb-lever on side. Tool measures twenty inches in length. I believe the photos do a better job of describing the item and will give you a sense of the condition. Please note. As my seller name implies. I am a miner. I do not spend much time cleaning or repairing the items I sell. I may wipe off the heavy layers for the photos and that’s about it. Nice old gas station sconce. There is a crack in the hexagon disc. Shown in photo#3. It is stable and if turned to the back, un-noticeable. The mounting base measures 4 3/4 x 9 1/4 inches. The hexagon disc is 6 1/8th flat to flat on the outside, and 7 inches point to point. The hexagon globe needs to be 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 inches across on the inside. Up for auction is a vintage nickel plated No. 14 Clayton& Lambert Gas or Alcohol Torch recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It was made in Detroit, Mich, and is found in its original 2 1/2" x 2" x 7 1/2" box. The lamp fits snuggly in the box, while the box has good graphics, but shows wear, with considerable staining and losses to the graphics. There is some losses to the chrome finish on the torch, but in other area, it appears that it may have never been used. The chrome has several green colored stains. Please see the photos for details. I've never used one and do not know it it works or not, so as a result, it is offered in"as found" condition. There are two rubber tubes included, but both have cracks in them. This was purchased at an estate sale. And I'm not sure if it works with gas. I have not tried to use it but most parts seem to be there. I don't know a lot about old street lights but have seen pictures here on e-bay with this type of style in the early 1900's it has 1899 Patent date. I would like local pick up because the globe is all intact(it had WELSBACH PN 19 on the globe) and to ship will be tough I might consider it but call me and see how to package it and that will be extra costs. It measures 42" tall by 19" wide with opening for 3" pole at bottom. Most of the light seems to be Aluminum( used magnet to check)and there are defects like missing rope looking up right part on one side and the other side there is a piece of tape see picture, one leaf on crown cracked off, Aluminum top has dents, some paint flaking ... moreand some missing screws and such. ANTIQUE / VINTAGE GAS LIGHTING BRASS WALL FIXTURE PARTS - plus misc. parts
Here we have a group of very nice antique/ vintage gas lighting fixture parts. The first pieces are a pair of gas light extension arms. They are approx. 6 1/2" long. Are square in shape and made of solid brass. They have a 5/8th threaded square valve on one end and a square 90 degree threaded elbow at the other. The valve and the elbow have a nice pattern on both sides. The gas valves have round handles approx. 1" in diameter. Both valves are fairly stiff but still fully turn as they are meant to. As for condition. They are as found. The pics show the physical condition more accurately than I can describe them, so look closely at the pics. The brass is clean and clear of corrosion or pitting and has a very nice, aged golden patina look. Both valve and elbow appear to be soldered in place and are still very solid. Both the inside ... moreand outside threads are in very good condition. This pair of very nice antique/ vintage gas lighting brass fixture parts is clean, shows only normal ware and are in overall very good condition for their age. They could probably still be used as gas fittings, or if you prefer, could be be easily converted to electrical lighting fixture parts. The other misc. parts are as follows: Again. The pics show the physical condition of these parts more accurately than I can describe them, again, look closely at the pics. 1) The first is a solid brass 2 way valve. It has one line in and 2 lines out each controlled. Both valve regulators do not turn at the moment. However as the fitting is solid brass, I'm sure they could be freed up without too much difficulty. 2) The second are a set of 4 rather odd looking old gas fittings. I'm not sure what metal they are made of. They are sort of bulbus in appearance. Are about 1 1/2" long and 1 1/2" in dia. and reduce from a 5/8th thread to a 3/8th thread. Stamped in the metal of the two larger ones is"Insulating Joint, The MacCall Co. Boston Mass. USA" There are also intact stickers on these that read"Underwriters Labo

Antique killark industrial light fixture. Deep dark red globe. Stainless mount. Was removed from a local mill in the later1960's but was in use for many decades before then. Still works and is in great condition except for few light grease smudges that can easily be cleaned.

This is a beautiful set of four antique gas wall sconces. The sconces are metal either brass or bronze with copper pipes to carry the gas. Each wall fixture measures just under 9" tall and just over 4" wide. The piping extends about 5&3/4" from the wall. The wall sconce has an ornate design with a woman's face as the center design. Where the pipe extends there is a floral decoration that almost looks to have an Asian influence this is why I extended the possible circa past the end of the Art Nouveau period and into the 1920s. This may also fall into the Neoclassical even Greek Revival categories. One of the fixtures is missing the collar around the gas spout. There is a small area of loss on three of the sconces to the decoration that extends from the plate to the spout- please see the last two photos for best condition ... moredescription and to note the missing piece. This is a beautiful set of four antique gas fixtures that would be great for a period restoration or could be used creatively in some other decorative fashion. Offered for auction. A great old wall sconce. This is a working gas unit from the TURES LIGHTING SYSTEM, PAT. JAN. 26, 04. This manufacturing company was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The unit is out of a farm house that dated from the 1800's. I tested the unit and it works fine. Both the gas control valve and the needle valve function properly. Unfortunately I don't have the globe. The unit stands out from the wall 18 inches and is 14-1/2 inches top to bottom. The metal is not magnetic and I think it is plated brass. This is one arm for sale. The swivel moves fine. Very smooth but not"loose" The valve also turns in each direction effortlessly as well. Please see the pictures closely.
