However, this was long gone when I acquired the fixture. Without knowing what the original color was, I decided to leave well enough alone, and simply gently polished the brass. The cast-iron components(the arms, finial, and chain flourish) seem to retain their original gold finish. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. LSI Lighting Fluorescent Wall Wash Track Light Fixture-Biax-White-24"-2 Bulb
I bought 10 of these lights several years ago at an estate sale. They are used but in great condition. I have used 7 of them in various places around the house. In an out building and over my work bench. The neat thing about them is that you don't have to have a track and they already have the hanger right on them. I just removed the pieces for the track and wired the lights straight to my power source. Of course they will work on the tracks as well. I have tested them and they do work, I have 3 of them left for sale. Here's the only things I see wrong with them. Note in the one pic, the plastic pieces used to snap the ends of the long bulbs in have broken, all lights that use those eventually break from the heat. It doesn't effect the use of the light at all. The bulbs just rest on the cover or hang free without the clips. Mine ... morehave been working for 4 or 5 years with no problems and I've never even replaced a bulb in one of mine, so pretty good life on the bulbs in these lights. The other thing you see in the last pick is that the heat often cracks the fins on the covers as well, they don't break and fall out and if you don't remove the cover, you can't even see that the fins are cracked, just wanted you to know in case one of the ones you get is that way. Lovely Vintage Ceiling or Wall 2~bulb Lighting Fixtures Matched Pair They measure approx 12" X 7" and approx 2-1/2" high to the socket and 4" high to the tip of the Ornate Metal Centerpiece. There is a very small chip on the outside of one of the sockets. I show this in my pictures otherwise there is no damage, no nicks or chips to the fixtures. I also show the wiring of which I do not know if they work. I always have my old fixtures re-wired with modern up to code wiring by my electrician. The fixtures are a dark Ivory to a slight Golden Color. Note there is some of the Gold detailing slightly worn on one fixture due to natural wear but does not take away from the beauty. Not all lighting fixtures are created equal. JBJ produces high end aquarium lighting that is designed to last. This fixture is perfect for salt water reef aquariums. This fixture houses T5 HO bulbs that are either 4 x 24Watt Singe Tube or 2 x 55Watt Dual Tube bulbs. Separate switches allow control of lighting needs. I am including a daylight twin bulb. A 10,000K twin bulb and a Blue Reef twin bulb. I have included 4 spacers that may be used if you decide to use single tube bulbs instead of the ones that are included. The light works perfectly and there are no signs of rust or corrosion. The reflectors are in excellent condition. I would recommend this fixture for tanks ranging from 25 to 55 gallons. You would want two lighting fixtures for larger tanks.
