Both have been checked by a master electrician and are working fine as seen in pics. The wiring is still very pliable and in good condition. Ready to hang, no rewiring necessary. No mounting hardware included, but can be obtained at any hardware store or lighting supply house. Nice vintage condition but not new or mint, so please do not expect them to be. There are some chips to the shades at the mounting area, which are well hid when installed. There is some old paint at the top of the canopies and a piece of scotch tape, both which I'm certain could be removed. There is some scratching to the frost on the shades, presumably from cleaning. Please expect the items to have various other areas of wear and patina, including scratches, scrapes, dings, rust, dirt, finish loss, etc etc as they are quite old and used. Overall, it measures 10½” tall x 4½” wide, weighs 2 lbs, and is equipped with six brass guards to protect the 3½" x 4” 360 º clear dioptric(ribbed) clear lens. The lantern originally had a oil burning font which has been replaced with 110 volt lighting. It doesn't appear to have had a lot of sea duty and is in exceptional condition.This nautical artifact is a nice example of U.S. Maritime history. Basically a U shape bracket that the clamp would bolt to. I'm having a local company weld a new one up with aluminum. This will be fully functional. However it will look slightly different then stock. I do have 2 more Mac 250 Kyrptons and 2 more Mac 300's that will be going up for sale soon. They all have an issue of some sort. The light comes on, the mirror moves, the display and all buttons work, but because I don't have a way to fully test it it is sold as-is, no returns. Three available. I checked their total use, they are 2816 hours, 2858 hours and 2868 hours respectively- I have no idea when the lights were last replaced. They are heavy and big. RARE KLIEGL BROS. SETH THOMAS GOVERNOR CONTROLLED#10 STAGE LIGHTING MOVEMENT. Marked Kliegl Bros. 20 M. Seth Thomas number 10 double spring time-only movements were used for many applications beyond clocks- they were used to power advertising displays. To operate barographs, and many other mechanical objects that needed reliable power. This is an example of one of these movements converted to operate something to do with stage lighting, as Kliegl Brothers are a famous stage lighting company. Exactly what it was used for, I don't know, but it could have done something like make a light oscillate. the output shaft is about 1.5" long. Instead of a standard escapement, this has been fitted with a worm and fan, much like something that would be seen in an antique music box.
