The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. This light was of the Highest Quality in its era you will find and one of my very favorite from the period. It is JUST STUNNING with a clear glass design that would compliment any decor. Arts& Crafts, Deco, Victorian, Nouveau. My pictures do it no justice.The Large shade is Beautifully designed with a very fancy 3D design that is Just Amazing! Notice the Unusal designed scallop rim with an alternating diamond point. The bottom also has quite a detailed center that holds the brass finial/hanging crystal. WOW! When lit the 3D clear glass pattern in the shade just comes alive with a Beautiful lighting display. The hanging fixture also has a Beautiful pattern glass throughout also which has a fancy pattern ... moreglass bobeche and prisms. When lit this will have you a AWE! they way the light filters through the clear glass. It is a TRUE BEAUTY! The shade measures 15" in diameter. The 3 bulb light fixture has been totally rewired using new 3 bulb socket/wiring. It has a hang of 17" to bottom of shade but can be lengtened if desired. This will arrive ready to hang and enjoy. In Exceptionally NICE condition, the only flaw are manufacturing flaws such as straw marks, airbubbles as with all glass. A Wonderful peice of vintage lighting to compliment your period decor! Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. Glass Ceiling Light globe fixture Antique/vintage 12" Hand painted 10" fitter
This is a vintage 1915-1925 hand painted glass ceiling light globe in wonderful condition. The exterior has been hand painted with a rural scen e. One side depicts a farm setting with house and barn with trees; the opposite sho ws a road curving through trees. The two scenes are separated by water with a likeness of a sail boat on the surface and hills in th e distant background. The glass itself is frosted over a co arse surface that reminds one of ice-chipped glass. The paint has no loss and the colors are rich and vibrant still. There is one thin fitter c hip that barely breaks the surface of the edge and would never show. The globe about 12"W X 6-6.5" H with a 10" fitter. I have up for auction this super nice find. This piece was found in an old estate that I cleaned out. This piece is super awesome and guaranteed old. The is all metal with leafe designs that are all painted cream. Then there is a mirrored back with the light bulb that sticks out. Then on the light bulb are all glass beads that are tied around the light bulb which you can remove when the light bulb burns out. Then all along the perameter of the piece are super great solid glass or crystal tiered round ball prisms. They are all there and the piece is in good shape for its age. The mirror does have some light crazing which is on the back side but just great authentic patina to the piece. The piece measures about 10" in diameter at the widest point. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. This is a Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade. The information I was given was that these shades came from the same house and that the house was built in 1921. This is one of two auctions for vintage Art Deco shades that were purchased together. The information I was given was that the other shades came from a house that was built in 1921. I was not able to find out if this shade is from the same house or not. But it looks to me like it is probably from around the same era. I do not know the age for sure. The shade has three graduated dimensions separated by clear rings with a beaded pattern. I would describe the color as a very pale pink. The photos are close ... moreto. But not exactly the actual color. The pink portions of the glass are decorated as seen. The shade is in excellent condition the exception of a little bit of darker pink color adjacent to the holes from which the shade will be hung. I don't know much about how the shade was made but it looks to me like the three holes for the chains that will hang the shade were cut. And the edges of the holes on the inside are a bit rough. The shades are 10 3/8" in diameter. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain.
