Sterling Bronze Company Antique Wall Sconces
Antique wall sconces from the early 20th century(Remains Lighting Company of New York has estimated the age to be circa 1900-1910) These are a pair of solid brass wall sconces from the famous"Sterling Bronze Company" of New York. Late 1800's- early 1900's. They are Baluster form. Double light sconces in their original finish. They have fluted arms and turned wax pans/ candle cups. Their approximate dimensions are. Height 17 1/4" width 10 3/4" depth 6 1/4" Their weight is approximately 7 pounds each(total 14 pounds) They are in very good condition. But there is some wear that you would expect from an antique. Their patina is slightly worn in some areas. There are a few random paint"sprinkles" from a house repaint in the 1960's. The back side of one of the sconces is missing the back wall hook/holder ... moreand as a solution to hanging the sconce safely, a small hole was drilled at the top of the sconce to hang it on the wall securely(see picture) Rewiring the wall sconces would also be advisable, although they were in working condition when they were last attached to the wall before removal. These beautiful solid brass wall sconces came from an eleven bedroom mansion located along the Historic Main Line in Rosemont Pennsylvania. The architect of this mansion was Frank H. Hi up for sale is lot of 4 antique cast metal wall sconces. There are 2 with two arms and 2 with one arm. They have a shield like motif. The double armed ones are 9 1/2" tall at the center part. And about 9 1/2" across. They stick out 3 1/4" the paper socket covers that look like candles are 5" tall, they have some wear. The single ones are 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" across. All have turn switches toward the bottoms, all have the hangers that the finials go through the centers, one is already attached in the pic. They are in good shape, have some finish wear. Old Vintage Antique Porcelier Porcelain Wall Light Sconce Fixture Light w Switch
Up for Sale ia a Beutiful Antique Porcelier Wall Sconce. It is in excellant condition. The gold trim and little flowers look great. The pull switch works as it should and has a great snap to it, I tested it and it works properly. The photos speak for themselfs as to its great condition. The outlet works as it should, the wires on the outlet were a little frayed so I replaced them, the wires to the light socket were in great condition so I left them. The fixture is ready to mount on your wall. It is setup to accept a glass globe over the bulb, many are listed regularly on Ebay so it can be added if you wish. I like to add an old looking Edison style bulb as shown in a couple of the photos without the globe. The mounting bracket and gold cap nut are included, the light bulb shown in a few of the photos is not included.

For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

I believe the piece to be made from bronze and brass and it measures 17" long from the top of the bow to the very bottom underneath the middle candle holder and just a little over 11 1/2" across the center front outside edge. Also measuring just shy of 11 1/4" from the back inside edge where a mirror or picture would be held and 36 1/2" all the way around the circle frame. As seen it has 3 seperate candle holders highly decorated with ornate molded florals& leaves. Detailed raised trim beading and what looks like a hand hammered top bow& ribbons. On the back is missing a couple of metal brackets which hold the mirror or picture inside the frame. The piece looks solid& free any breaks with no signs of ... moreany repairs. Vintage Antique Porcelain Wall Sconce Fixture White Floral Applique Green Orange
For your consideration is this great old wall sconce fixture. It is in good condition. Though it needs to be re-wired. It is a pull switch fixture. The wall plate measures 4 1/4" wide by 7 1/4" tall. The fixture is white with green lines painted on the base, two lines, one parallel to the wall, then one inside that that mirrors the shape of the top of the base. There is also a green line painted around the rim of the lamp socket. There are transfer appliques on the fixture with pink roses, green bow and green leaves. The appliques do have some wear, the top one on the wall plate, being nearly worn off. The rest, however, are in decent condition. There are also a couple of cracks near the hole in the back. They appear to be cracks in the glaze and do not appear on the front of the fixture in any way. Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. Maybe from the 1930's The mark used is c. 1914-1930's and can be found in the Dresden Porcelain Studios Book by Harrans. Page 180. Handmalerei is German for hand painted These great looking sconces have a very ornate design They're in working condition. But feel free to have them checked out by a professional for your own protection There are 2 cut out notches on the back of each sconce(see pic 20) so they can be hung on the wall. These are already wired to 10' cords with plugs on the ends to be plugged right in the wall or the cords removed and hard wired right to the wall These wall sconces are in really good condition for their age. But there are a couple minor ... moreissues to mention Unfortunately there is 1 repair on one of the sconces near the top(see pics 20-21) it is hardly noticeable and there is also part of the green leaf missing in that same pic#20 In the last two pics there's part of a flower petal missing on 1 flower in each pic. Again they'll never be noticed unless you know they're there The arms on these sconces are all plastered into place. But they are all a little loose and wiggle a little bit from them being picked up by the arms. It does not compromise them in any way and are still firmly in place. But should be handled with care and NOT be picked up by the arms but by the back plate to ensure the arms are not pulled out of the sockets These large pieces measure approximately 15.5" in height x 10.5" in width x 7.25" deep These are a great pair of sconces and I've seen them priced nearly $1000 a pair in mint condition. The y both have hard to read marks on the back- looks like DEP.MUSTER. Each scon ce stands out from the wall about 9 3/4 inches(24.8 cm) The flat piece that mounts to the wall measures about 4 3/4 inches(12.1 cm) top to bottom and 2 3/4 inches(7 cm) across at the widest point. Some points on condition: the pins on which these sconces swivel are different and likely not original. There is some pitting and greenish oxidation(see pictures) also some very small age/stress cracks that do not affect either the look or structural integrity of these sconces. Markel Slip Shade Wall Sconce. Art Deco era and mainly these were made in the 30s. The glass is in excelle nt condition and could not find any flea bites. Obviously chips or cracks. This glass is very special and made with uranium in it, so when under b lack light it glows. Rare to find this glass still and especially in this condition. The frame is of a cast metal and heavier metal at that. It has been cleaned and r estored to a medium gold. And oil rubbed to enhance the details of the frame. The brass turn switch has been replaced with a new one and the socket and wiring also. The bulb it would take is a standard size bulb that w ith a regular base. The wattage of 60 or less is recomm ended. Especially for the presentation of the color of the shade. The stronger wattage the less color of the glass. They measure approximately 13" long from top to bottom, 9" wides with a 5" projection from the wall. They came from the ladies's room of the Paramount Theater in Nashville, Tennessee.
