Vintage Art Deco Skyscraper Milk Glass Globe Light Fixture
This auction is for a beautiful vintage art deco Skyscraper light fixture with a milk glass globe. All original including the wires which my need to be replaced as they are very old. The globe is in great condition for its age and is free of any chips or cracks. The copper pieces of the fixture are also in great condition but do have some rough spots on the inside due to its age. This is normal. Take a look at the pictures and you will see just how stunning this light fixture really is. Measures approximately 15-1/2 inches tall from end to end. Hollywood Regency / Art Deco Black & Silver Chandelier Vintage Lighting Fixture
We recently went to an auction that had great 1880s-1930s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. We know that some of them came from west central Ohio homes that were built during Ohio's railroad boom(most people don't think of Midwest railroad barons, but we had'em) We'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks. This black and silver chandelier is Hollywood Regency by way of Art Deco. It's footprint isn't large. So it won't overwhelm a room, but it will be a focal point. The fixture's about 12" in diameter. It hangs down about 27. Great size for dining areas. Living rooms, salons. The chain has a lovely symmetrical/asymmetrical interlude of flowers within an oval. Please see the pictures. From a local estate. Here is a beautiful older ceiling light fixture. This is painted pot metal and is set up for two bulbs, it measures about 12.75" end to end, about 7" across the middle. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. The original wiring, cables,etc are still present. The chandelier measures approximately 25 inches tall. 18 inches wide. The glass round ball shaped hand blown piece measures 9 inches around. The glass globes measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in diameter. 3 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at largest opening and 2 inches in diameter at smallest opening. Chandelier is quite heavy. Will be packed with lots of care and a generous amount of bubble wrap. Paper and cardboard before packing it into a sturdy solid strong box and shipped to the new owner. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. This is a beautiful old slip shade chandelier circa 1920's. The condition is excellent with minimal wear and no breaks or cracks in the glass shades. The switch and wiring are very good and could be used but should be examined for suitability of your intended use. Verreries des Hanots Wonderful very rare 1930-1935 flush fitting art deco ceiling fixture in bronze with nickel finish holding a very large shade in a thick quality white moulded-pressed glass. Produced by Verreries des Hanots in the 30ies this shade does not exist with a signature. It is represented in numerous catalogues of lamp producers for instance Hettier& Vincent made several fixtures for this model. In an old Holophane(Hanots and Verlys) catalogue is is represented under#8547'Laterne Juive' the Jewish Lantern) I was not able to trace down the maker of the fixture. I found several of these mountings in cast brass or bronze and originaly they were covered by green paint. I had them nickel plated and patinated. The lamp is in excellent condition. Antique HP Cast Aluminum Art Deco Vintage Ceiling Light Lite Fixture
Old Art Deco Aluminum li ght fixture. It has been hanging up in an old barn since the mid 60's. One of the li ght sockets is cracked on the back side and needs rewired and cleaned up. This will be a stunning fixture if cleaned up and repainted. It is 14 1/2" diameter and from bottom of fixture t o top is 2 1/2" thi ck. It is marked H. P. Inc with the number 905-15. This is a Non Working light fixture and can be used for parts or to rebuild. I think this would be an easy project. Vintage LUCITE Swirly Light Fixture Chandelier 1970-80's Original Retro DECO Here is a very cool. Vintage light fixture or chandelier made with Lucite. The lucite is made in long bands of lucite, sort of swirled around each other. It measures 21 1/2 ins. approx. from ceiling mount to the end of the last lucite piece at the bottom. As you can see. I have about a gazillion pictures I took of this, and I have the sore wrists and forearms to prove it. Many inside and even outside shots for you. Please check them all out. The fixture is in Fair condition with rust around the brass ceiling mount and holding screws. To put a light bulb in here. It has to be a chandelier style, thinner bulb, and you slide your hand down the top part and screw it in sort of upside down.A few of the lucite pieces( about. 2) have some' crazing' in the plastic ... morematerial. Like this. Most likely due to heat or temperature changes. I have always seen this in older lucite pieces, even furniture. It is not cracked through the lucite, but inside crazing. You could take this to a metal refinisher to have them re-plate this. Or replace it with another of the same size. Chain is rusted too. There is on the longer piece of plastic swirl. A screw that is out some, as if someone took that one on and off to get a light bulb in that way as well. All the screws are rusted, so I have not attempted to do so. It is unmarked anywhere that I have seen. Bottom of the fixture. It is a fairly heavy fixture. Reflecting in an outside mirror. It is a wonderful. Very fun vintage fixture. Would always recommend re-wiring before using. Perfect for Retro, 1970-80's decors, Modern, and even Art Deco homes. Antique Art Deco Skyscraper Light Fixture - Milk Glass - Vintage Chandelier
Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. This is a very Art Deco cast iron chandelier. Without shades. It measures about 17" from the finial tip to top ring where the chain starts, 9" across 2 opposing"wings" It has a turn switch on the bottom. 5 lights, needs rewiring. Accepts standard base bulb. Appears to be original finish. The measurement along the bottom is just over 2 1/2" and widens off to approx. 5" From the base to the top of the inside opening. Along the ridge inside each of the brackets(not sure what these are called) is right at 5" high.

We believe this item is made out of pewter but we could be mistaken; a magnet does not stick to the metal. This item shows overall wear including scratches found throughout. Most of the metallic finish has worn off, this item is dirty overall, there is discoloration found throughout, the sockets are slightly loose, the center bolt is missing, and the wiring is old and should be replaced. Overall this piece measures in at 15"H with an 18" hanging length. Condition is excellent as shown: Minus some minute sharp edges on the rim of the beige glass shade piece is void of chips. Cracks, lines, heavy scratches, paint splatter etc.The upper glass crown is void of damage as well. The fixture suspends by 3 metal ball chains, 2 have ball endings while one has a pinched end(please view pics) The metal socket cover and canopy show some wear to the paint as shown. The fixture does work however the wiring is old and should be updated. This is a single bulb light, if you're handy this could easily be converted into a 3 bulb piece with the addition of threaded ... morebrass lamp conduit and a 3 light cluster. All components are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's era. The shade and glass stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and the color is so nice. The chain has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. The ceiling canopy was sanded and professionally repainted as is also from the same era. There are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs as well as all new wiring.
