Antique Tudor Revival Medieval Gothic Deco Nouveau Moe-Bridges Style Chandelier
This is an antique chandelier light fixture with five lights. It came out of a victorian home and was probably a replacement when the gaslights were taken out. It looks like a Moe-Bridges light fixture but I am not sure because I can't find any marks on it. It has been professionally rewired and works great. It is heavy and made of brass and painted metal. It has red. Green and gold colors in the decoration. There are some chips on some of the painted areas especially the finial that hangs down on the bottom of the fixture. I didn't want to change or alter the finish at all so I left it as is. I hung the fixture on a ladder to photograph it hanging but I am sure it would look much better hanging from the ceiling in your home. Hollywood Regency / Art Deco Black & Silver Chandelier Vintage Lighting Fixture
We recently went to an auction that had great 1880s-1930s lighting fixtures. Lamps, etc. We know that some of them came from west central Ohio homes that were built during Ohio's railroad boom(most people don't think of Midwest railroad barons, but we had'em) We'll be listing these over the next couple of weeks. This black and silver chandelier is Hollywood Regency by way of Art Deco. It's footprint isn't large. So it won't overwhelm a room, but it will be a focal point. The fixture's about 12" in diameter. It hangs down about 27. Great size for dining areas. Living rooms, salons. The chain has a lovely symmetrical/asymmetrical interlude of flowers within an oval. Please see the pictures. Antique Art Deco Ceiling 5 Light Chandelier Polychrome Paint Fleur-De-Lis
Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. The outside diameter of the ceiling light is approximately 17+1/2 inches. Pictures a

Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. The original wiring, cables,etc are still present. The chandelier measures approximately 25 inches tall. 18 inches wide. The glass round ball shaped hand blown piece measures 9 inches around. The glass globes measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in diameter. 3 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at largest opening and 2 inches in diameter at smallest opening. Chandelier is quite heavy. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. Verreries des Hanots Wonderful very rare 1930-1935 flush fitting art deco ceiling fixture in bronze with nickel finish holding a very large shade in a thick quality white moulded-pressed glass. Produced by Verreries des Hanots in the 30ies this shade does not exist with a signature. It is represented in numerous catalogues of lamp producers for instance Hettier& Vincent made several fixtures for this model. In an old Holophane(Hanots and Verlys) catalogue is is represented under#8547'Laterne Juive' the Jewish Lantern) I was not able to trace down the maker of the fixture. I found several of these mountings in cast brass or bronze and originaly they were covered by green paint. I had them nickel plated and patinated. The lamp is in excellent condition. It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Vintage LUCITE Swirly Light Fixture Chandelier 1970-80's Original Retro DECO Here is a very cool. Vintage light fixture or chandelier made with Lucite. The lucite is made in long bands of lucite, sort of swirled around each other. It measures 21 1/2 ins. approx. from ceiling mount to the end of the last lucite piece at the bottom. As you can see. I have about a gazillion pictures I took of this, and I have the sore wrists and forearms to prove it. Many inside and even outside shots for you. Please check them all out. The fixture is in Fair condition with rust around the brass ceiling mount and holding screws. To put a light bulb in here. It has to be a chandelier style, thinner bulb, and you slide your hand down the top part and screw it in sort of upside down.A few of the lucite pieces( about. 2) have some' crazing' in the plastic ... morematerial. Like this. Most likely due to heat or temperature changes. I have always seen this in older lucite pieces, even furniture. It is not cracked through the lucite, but inside crazing. You could take this to a metal refinisher to have them re-plate this. Or replace it with another of the same size. Chain is rusted too. There is on the longer piece of plastic swirl. A screw that is out some, as if someone took that one on and off to get a light bulb in that way as well. All the screws are rusted, so I have not attempted to do so. It is unmarked anywhere that I have seen. Bottom of the fixture. It is a fairly heavy fixture. Reflecting in an outside mirror. It is a wonderful. Very fun vintage fixture. Would always recommend re-wiring before using. Perfect for Retro, 1970-80's decors, Modern, and even Art Deco homes. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. Very Hard to find and and lovingly restored to a brilliant blend of golds. Greens, red, copper, bronze and oil rubbed to enhance detail. Fixtures from this period were made with care and great thought. Everything about them was made to last. Th is is a five light chandelier with five arms that hold chains that lead to a small bonnet and that is where the canopy me ets. The arms hold a cons olidated glass slip on smoke bell over each socket. The glass is in great condition with some minor not noticeable age chips around the edges. For the age they are exceptional. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. The hang of the fixture is about 31 inches and can be reduced by taking out some of the diamond shaped chain. The sockets ... moreare new and rewired. The candle covers are original and wor n. This is a very Art Deco cast iron chandelier. Without shades. It measures about 17" from the finial tip to top ring where the chain starts, 9" across 2 opposing"wings" It has a turn switch on the bottom. 5 lights, needs rewiring. Accepts standard base bulb. Appears to be original finish. The measurement along the bottom is just over 2 1/2" and widens off to approx. 5" From the base to the top of the inside opening. Along the ridge inside each of the brackets(not sure what these are called) is right at 5" high.

Materials: The corpus of the chandelier is mostly made out of brass elements. Each single one hold in typical, strict geometrical Machine Age design. The chandelier is additional adorned with thick-walled, square-shaped glass elements below the lampshadeholders as well as on the center parts. The lampshades are very elaborated, made out of molded glass and adorned with airbrushed pattern and gilded linings. Latter matches wonderful with the brass elements of the chandelier. The entire design of the chandelier reminds strongly on the Modernist works of french designer Jacques Adnet. Markel Art Deco Chandelier Custard Cup Shades 3 Light
Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. Looks fresh out of the 1930's Markel shop. Rewired with period appropriate white cloth wire. Unique turned wood center body. Measures 25 1/2" long x 15" in diameter. All components are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's era. The shade and glass stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks and the color is so nice. The chain has been left with its vintage petina- looks great. The ceiling canopy was sanded and professionally repainted as is also from the same era. There are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs as well as all new wiring. This amazing light fixture can be adjusted to hang between 15 and 17 1/2 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions. I’m very pleased to offer this striking 1930s petite chandelier! The shade is 12-inches wide. So is ideal for a smaller bedroom, foyer, or bath. Most vintage fixtures with a 12-inch shade are very simple. And are meant to hang close to the ceiling with little, well, bling. This fixture is unusual in having ... morewonderful, dazzling extras. I wish to stress, too, how original these extras are. What you see is how the fixture looked when it left the factory 80 years ago. And it’s all so lovely: I love the brass bullet finial. The shade is quite expressive. And features stylized leaves, and a richly detailed upper edge. The stem? Wow! There are four glass flowers and these really come alive when lighted. Wow! There’s a nicely detailed brass flourish above the flowers. The canopy. While simple, is nonetheless evocative of the period. So. Yes, all the parts are original to each other, and what a look they create! Please also note the new cloth-covered wiring! Wholly restored. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts two standard base 60W bulbs. The brass has been polished. It has not been lacquered. COLOR: Frosted white shade. Brass. Cream paint. SIZE: The fixture is 23-inches long. And 12 wide. I can remove 6-inches of chain. I can add chain. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage.
