This light was of the Highest Quality in its era you will find and one of my very favorite from the period. It is JUST STUNNING with a clear glass design that would compliment any decor. Arts& Crafts, Deco, Victorian, Nouveau. My pictures do it no justice.The Large shade is Beautifully designed with a very fancy 3D design that is Just Amazing! Notice the Unusal designed scallop rim with an alternating diamond point. The bottom also has quite a detailed center that holds the brass finial/hanging crystal. WOW! When lit the 3D clear glass pattern in the shade just comes alive with a Beautiful lighting display. The hanging fixture also has a Beautiful pattern glass throughout also which has a fancy pattern ... moreglass bobeche and prisms. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Old Art Deco Nouveau Victorian Ceiling Light Fixture CHANDELIER w/ 5 Orig Globes
For your consideration here is a lovely vintage old chandelier ceiling light fixture with 5 original ivory/ cream color original glass globes. There's a nice hand blown heavy glass round"ball" shaped piece on the chandelier. The entire chandelier is all completely original. It is made from multiple types of metals. I am not 100% sure what all the metals are but I think at least some of the metals may be brass. Cast metal, possibly bronze.some of the metal is magnetic and most of it is not magnetic. There's a little rust on the magnetic round disk shaped piece near the middle area of chandelier but it's nothing I would consider major. The chandelier does show use and age but still a fantastic chandelier with wonderful art nouveau/ Victorian designs& patterns. The 5 glass globes are all the original globes.they do ... morehave tiny, tiny barely there flea bites around the opening but they are not noticeable.I only saw them with my magnifying glass when I was looking the chandelier. The original wiring, cables,etc are still present. The chandelier measures approximately 25 inches tall. 18 inches wide. The glass round ball shaped hand blown piece measures 9 inches around. The glass globes measure approximately 5-1/4 inches in diameter. 3 inches tall, 4 inches in diameter at largest opening and 2 inches in diameter at smallest opening. Chandelier is quite heavy. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. Verreries des Hanots Wonderful very rare 1930-1935 flush fitting art deco ceiling fixture in bronze with nickel finish holding a very large shade in a thick quality white moulded-pressed glass. Produced by Verreries des Hanots in the 30ies this shade does not exist with a signature. It is represented in numerous catalogues of lamp producers for instance Hettier& Vincent made several fixtures for this model. In an old Holophane(Hanots and Verlys) catalogue is is represented under#8547'Laterne Juive' the Jewish Lantern) I was not able to trace down the maker of the fixture. I found several of these mountings in cast brass or bronze and originaly they were covered by green paint. I had them nickel plated and patinated. The lamp is in excellent condition. Antique HP Cast Aluminum Art Deco Vintage Ceiling Light Lite Fixture
Old Art Deco Aluminum li ght fixture. It has been hanging up in an old barn since the mid 60's. One of the li ght sockets is cracked on the back side and needs rewired and cleaned up. This will be a stunning fixture if cleaned up and repainted. It is 14 1/2" diameter and from bottom of fixture t o top is 2 1/2" thi ck. It is marked H. P. Inc with the number 905-15. This is a Non Working light fixture and can be used for parts or to rebuild. I think this would be an easy project. Vintage Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture KITCHEN HALL PORCH White & Clear Rings
Vintage fixture. The chrome housing/ceiling canopy does show some minor blemishing to the finish relevant to age. I replaced the original socket. I had a box of unused older sockets that has the string type pull so the socket was a perfect companion to the fixture since the canopy piece does have an opening hole for the string to come through) The sockets shown in the last photo are not included with the auction listing. Box was pictured to show the socket used as a replacement is new old stock. No chips or cracks to the glass, the fitter end opening is 4" Shade is about 8 1/2" in diameter. About 6 1/4" tall. This is a Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade. The information I was given was that these shades came from the same house and that the house was built in 1921. This is one of two auctions for vintage Art Deco shades that were purchased together. The information I was given was that the other shades came from a house that was built in 1921. I was not able to find out if this shade is from the same house or not. But it looks to me like it is probably from around the same era. I do not know the age for sure. We love to combine shipping and I will be glad to quote discounted combined shipping for these two auctions. Or in combination with any of our other items on request. The shade has three graduated dimensions separated by clear rings with a beaded pattern. I would describe the color as a very pale pink. The photos are close ... moreto. But not exactly the actual color. The pink portions of the glass are decorated as seen. The shade is in excellent condition the exception of a little bit of darker pink color adjacent to the holes from which the shade will be hung. I don't know much about how the shade was made but it looks to me like the three holes for the chains that will hang the shade were cut. And the edges of the holes on the inside are a bit rough. The shades are 10 3/8" in diameter. The maximum vertical depth from the top edge to the bottom center of the shade is about 4" This old Art Deco ceiling fixture would be a beautiful focal point in any room in which it is hung. It features a clear glass edge with half circle details with a textured field and ribbed nipple center. It has 3 holes for the chains. Which are included. It measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches in diameter. The chain hangs down about 17 inches. It has no cracks ort chips. I’m very pleased to offer a PAIR of stunning Art Deco pendant fixtures! I mean. Wow! The shades are in two parts. The upper sections are white glass with a striking reverse fluting. Nice. The lower sections are clear glass with intricate designs. A metal band holds the pieces together. The fitter. Chain, ... moreand canopy are all nickel-plated. While the shades are vintage, these components are not. I could have used very simple vintage metal fittings but the shades so clearly needed something dramatic. I hope you agree(particularly as the nickel fittings were quite expensive! The sockets and wiring are also new. Of course. The wire is cloth-covered like the original. Fixtures such as these were used in ice cream parlors. Department stores, and other commercial settings. Today they are prized for residential use, and would be a knock-out in a kitchen or bathroom. I can also see the pair close together over a rectangular dining table. DETAILS: The fixtures each accept one standard base 150W bulb. As noted above. The nickel fittings are not vintage. The shades are vintage. COLOR: White glass. Clear glass. Nickel. SIZE: The fixtures are now 42-inches long. I can remove up to 15-inches of chain. I can add chain.
