One needs work. All have tarnished from being outside since the 60's-70's. They have ceramic sockets that work fine. Good wiring. You could mount these and use them right now or polish and restore. No broken panes. Each measures 16 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" wide x 7" off the wall. These are standard box mounted and have a ground wire for outdoor use. Each lights fine and is beautiful when lit. You could clean these up from here nicely. Here is a great set of carriage lantern style wall lights. I am going to include a 5th for parts. Same pattern but the canopies on this pair are slightly different in size. The pair on the right is for Martha. They have smaller E-25 shades. The shades on this pair as pictured are XE-40 which match the double sconces. If you prefer the smaller E-25 Holophanes on your pair then I will ship that model instead. They are all brass from around 1912 plus. Please see the other listings if you need more sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are period Holophanes. Some of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the ones by my fingers in the pictures. These wall lamps have been washed. Paint and most dings removed, and waxed. ... moreThe canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. 3 Victorian Electric Brass Wall Sconces Early 1900's
Set of three wall sconces. These were early electric and the shade holder shows dates from the 1890's. One of the three has be refinished and rewired. All ready to go! Two of them need some polishing. The only thing I see missing are the set screws for two shade holders. The conical wall mount is 5 inches in diameter and the distance from the wall is 10 1/2 inches.

The shades are marked Holophanes. XE-40 some are also marked patented 1912. This Uno shadeholder style was used 1912 and into the 20's. Some of the Holophanes have flea bites on the ribs no worse than the ones pictured by my fingers. I don't sell items that are obviously damaged but I am not going to document every little flaw-these items are old and used but in good recondition. These sconces were designed to fit over a sink or vanity. This wall lamp has been washed, paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 5 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 10 1/2 inches, they are about ... more16"wide and 10" top to bottom. The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. You are bidding on the original cast brass nautical bulkhead light shown in the above photos. This light was recovered from one of our recent salvage projects in the Great Lakes Region of the US. This light weighs about 5 pounds. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage it measures 10 1/2 inches tall. When mounted to the wall it will extend out from the wall by 5 1/2 inches. The wall mount measures 3 3/4 inches wide and has four mount holes. The glass globe is undamaged. This light has been totally rewired with all new UL-Listed parts rated for any voltage of 250 ... morevolts or less. The new bulb holder takes a normal screw in house bulb of 75 watts or less. This light can be used for interior or exterior projects. It will never rust. The cage screws on and off by hand. But is not as smooth as a new light. For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

I believe the piece to be made from bronze and brass and it measures 17" long from the top of the bow to the very bottom underneath the middle candle holder and just a little over 11 1/2" across the center front outside edge. Also measuring just shy of 11 1/4" from the back inside edge where a mirror or picture would be held and 36 1/2" all the way around the circle frame. As seen it has 3 seperate candle holders highly decorated with ornate molded florals& leaves. Detailed raised trim beading and what looks like a hand hammered top bow& ribbons. On the back is missing a couple of metal brackets which hold the mirror or picture inside the frame. The piece looks solid& free any breaks with no signs of ... moreany repairs. Offered is this beautiful pair of antique cast brass Victorian style wall sconce light fixtures. They are in very nice condition and are 100% original from the porcelain sockets to the fabric insulated wire. There is no manufacturers mark that I could find on them but they are extremely well made and of a very high quality. Each fixture measures 10 and 1/2 inches tall by 4 and 1/2 inches wide and will extend 6 inches out from the wall once mounted. One fixture is missing the candlestick cover tube as shown in the photos, I chose not to replace it so as to keep them all original and leave the replacement choice up to the buyers discretion. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. Here is a great pair of antique/vintage wall sconces, each one in the shape of a Temple Menorah with 7 arms, they would look amazing on any wall, the wiring is original so i would have it checked with an electrition, but it is all there, all original. i did not polish the brass so it is in old patina finish. The menorah part is all brass, the backplate is metal that has been gilded. the turn on and off switch is on the back plate and there are two holes for mounting to the wall. the wiring, like i said is all there from all 7 lights to the back. the pair are big measuring 14 3/4 inches long and 11 inches wide at the widest point.the sconces the backplate measures 5" round and are 6.5 inches deep, that means when mounted on the wall they protrude 6.5 inches from the wall. great for lighting a special spot. And with 7 small candelabra ... morebulbs, you will have a great look on the wall. they have an old look. With nice detailing on the front the brass is worn as is the back plate, you can polish up or use as they are. the candlestick parts are covered with white candle covers, and all the insides are there. i have not lit them, i would check with electrition or good handy man before using them. they are as found in an estate. They were stored in the attic for many years, ok the history of them is this, one member of the family said they were in their grandmother's home in the study over the grandfather's desk area, and that they were there for over 80 years, the other family member said that the family story was that they belonged to an older family relative who was a Rabbi and very learned, and he gave them to the grandfather, that is all I know about them, I purchased them a number of years ago and have stored them but never used them. so here they are to sell and find a new home. if you have any other questions email them to me before bidding. thanks so much. I recently acquired a large collection of 100s of pieces of antique or Victorian age electric lights. Chandeliers, sconces, and parts that I will be listing during the next few months. These pieces would be perfect for the person restoring a Victorian age house. The item offered here is an antique bronze(or similar metal) wall sconce. It has been renovated to hold two taper candles. But the holes are present to run electric wiring. It has a wood handle base. It is 15" tall, 9" wide(at the top) and 4" deep. Lovely center ribbon adds just the perfect finishing touch. Each measures 14" tall x 9 1/2" wide and projects 5 1/2" out from the wall. The wiring is good and the light sleeves have been replaced. As is obvious in the images. The brass has a lovely mottled patina. This is more obvious in the images than in person. I could have polished the sconces bright, and with a consistent tone, but loved the patina. Please note: each sconce will have a different tonal patina pattern. The back-plates are stamped brass. Wholly restored and with new sockets and wiring. This set is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Happily, I will let you know where to get them. Any flame-style bulb will also look well. The fixtures accept standard base 60W bulbs. At some point. The glass shades are in perfect condition with no chips or damage that I can see anywhere. The brass fittings are also in fine condition. The round bit you see at the center of the sconces are the tops of the screws that screw into the back to mount the sconces on the wall. All electric wires are present and look in very good condition. However. As with all vintage lighting fixtures it's a good idea to check the wires or replace them just to be on the safe side.
