This lamp is being sold as-found for parts and repair. There are a couple tiny cracks in the fitters as you can see. There is also signs of rust on the thumb screws as well as the chain which would need to be cleaned up. It looks as if someone had started to restore this lamp but never finished. There are new wires as well as new sockets and it is being sold as working. The lamp shades shown in the pictures will be included. The glass lamp shades are free from any chips or cracks. The fitter size is a standard 2 1/4" so most antique lamp shades would fit this lamp. This lamp also comes with the ceiling canopy and the original mounting bracket. This is an antique solid brass student lamp. It is marked Manhattan Brass Co. NY. Pat. May 23. 76 and Dec. 25, 77 and May 20, 79 and is in very good condition. It retains its original milk glass shade. The shade is very thin and is hand blown. There are some flea bites around the top of the shade. But there are no cracks or chips. The lamp has been electrified but it can be reverted back to kerosene without any damage to the lamp. The oil reservoir is the locking type and iserts and twists to keep it in place. Please see all photos as they are the best representation of condition. The lamp stands 20-1/2" tall overall and the base is 6" in diameter. Check my feedback and Bid with confidence! Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade
Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. A nice early oil lantern. Unusual cut glass globe with brass ends. Has a metal swivel handle with hook to hang. Sits on a small brass burner. Working condition. You will need to fill with oil as I will be draining it to ship. Stands approx. 11 1/2" tall without handle. Glass is 6" diameter widest. Condition is good, glass does have some scratches to it. Also the burner does not connect to lantern, I'm not sure if it's missing some clamps or? Burner will wedge in to place, but, do not move or lift when lit as it could fall out and cause fire. I have never seen this tapered mast anywhere before. They came painted as seen in the last picture. They have been stripped and waxed with refurbished pull chain period fat boy sockets. The lanterns had several changes of glass. I hand cut the quality Kokomo slag glass for these so they all match. One has more of a copper color than the other, probably red brass. All the parts that show are brass. In the second from last picture next to the ball pull you might be able to see a small ding and tiny tear in the metal but is really not noticeable and part of the wear on these. They are not perfect and show minor dings and spots but all is redone and rewired and ready for ... moreanother 100 plus years of service. They hang down 23 1/4" to the bottom of the shade, with pull chains the drop is 28 inches. They are set up to easily adjust the length of the pull chain. Simple tubular brass arms terminate with an keyless antique sockets. Sockets have been rewired with UL approved 18/2 wire and new cardboard insulators. Each socket utilizes antique UNO style marked 2 1/4" shade holders marked USA around the perimeter. Etched glass shades feature a clear greek key design around the perimeter. Pair unique early 20th century brass pendant lights with keyed Perkins sockets and vented UNO shade holders featuring swirled glass shades with a matte finish. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. Antique Brass Slag Glass Hall Porch Lantern Arts & Crafts Mission Re-wired Nice!
Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. With it's current length of chain has a about a 32" drop. Chain can be shortened. Great period piece. Careful packing. Guaranteed to be old and authentic.

Superb Antique Double Socket Brass & Green Glass Table Lamp Body Lights Up 1930s
This auction is for a Fantastic Antique Double Socket Table Lamp With Great Brass Metal Work and a Lovely Soft Green Glass Body with a Molded Relief Floral Design that lights up. The piece is in very good condition. Especially for its age, which I believe dates to the 1930s. There are no cracks or chips in the glass or breaks or dents to the metal. I have tested the lamp and it works well. Both of the top sockets which activate on pull cords and the center body that lights up by a twist knob on the base. The brass pieces have a nice patina built up. The Green Glass body is frosted and molded into a relief design of leaves or thistle. The brass at the base and above the glass has an elaborately designed reticulated Victorian pattern. The lamp has a center rod that adjusts. Allowing you to raise the main sockets a few inches. The sockets also ... moreare hinged, which allows you to separate them apart from one another depending on your lighting needs. The lamp measures about 25 inches from the base to the top of the sockets. The lamp base measures about 8 inches across. The lamp doesn't come with a finial or shade. The center body cast a very soft. Soothing accent glow. The hardware appears to be original to the lamp. There are no makers marks so I am not certain of the manufacture. This auction is for a GORGEOUS VINTAGE HANGING BRASS& GLASS GLOBE LAMP HAND PAINTED FLOWERS LOVELY! This lamp is approx. 24 inches tall and almost 14 inches across. The gold colored chains are about 12 feet long This is in good working order now.But should be rewired for your specifications.The glass(or porcelain I'm not sure) is in fantastic condition and the hand painted flowers ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL!I believe that this is made for hanging in a corner, because the flowers are only painted on one side.I believe that I should ship the globe seperate from the fixtures. This is a three lighter with a mixture of chrome and brass. AMAZING TO see in person. I don't think the pictures do it justice. The shades have a faux alabaster appearance that are INCREDIBILITY BEAUTIFUL and are a signature that it's GILL GLASS. The detailing is EXCEPTIONAL. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s brass and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! I mean. Wow! It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in situ. They are almost always lost or broken. The sconces are also unusual in being ... morebrass. Such sconces are normally chrome-plated. I believe that the sconces were never actually used; this suspicion is supported by the wiring– it looks almost new. Also. After 80-years of use the little grooves on the Bakelite on/off knobs would be filled with dirt/grease. Normally I remove such knobs and soak them in soapy water overnight. But these knobs were wholly clean. The sconces were made by Levolite. The company was at 184 Grand Street in NYC. The building is. Today, no doubt high-end condos. The sconces only accept torpedo-shaped appliance bulbs. While such sconces would have normally been used in a bathroom. I believe these sconces, because of their being brass, and having no built-in electrical outlets, were also intended for a living/dining room, or bedroom. This set is ready to hang. And comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixtures accept standard base 60W torpedo appliance bulbs. Each sconce has an on/off switch. The brass mounting buttons are replacements.
