Vintage Art Deco Skyscraper Milk Glass Globe Light Fixture
This auction is for a beautiful vintage art deco Skyscraper light fixture with a milk glass globe. All original including the wires which my need to be replaced as they are very old. The globe is in great condition for its age and is free of any chips or cracks. The copper pieces of the fixture are also in great condition but do have some rough spots on the inside due to its age. This is normal. Take a look at the pictures and you will see just how stunning this light fixture really is. Measures approximately 15-1/2 inches tall from end to end. Hello. I have for sale a pair of Art Deco style molded glass and chrome wall sconces, each frosted pink shade is decorated with a ribbed motif and central figure of a nude in relief, set in a chrome frame. I was told they were made in Holland. I am a guy whose taste is not quite this style. By the pictures you can see they do operate. Unfortunately one does have a very tiny nick. This does not affect the looks though when the glass is sitting in the chrome frame. They measure 9 1/2"high, 10 1/2 wide and weigh approx. 5 lb. I hope the pictures and info help. Any? This light was of the Highest Quality in its era you will find and one of my very favorite from the period. It is JUST STUNNING with a clear glass design that would compliment any decor. Arts& Crafts, Deco, Victorian, Nouveau. My pictures do it no justice.The Large shade is Beautifully designed with a very fancy 3D design that is Just Amazing! Notice the Unusal designed scallop rim with an alternating diamond point. The bottom also has quite a detailed center that holds the brass finial/hanging crystal. WOW! When lit the 3D clear glass pattern in the shade just comes alive with a Beautiful lighting display. The hanging fixture also has a Beautiful pattern glass throughout also which has a fancy pattern ... moreglass bobeche and prisms. When lit this will have you a AWE! they way the light filters through the clear glass. It is a TRUE BEAUTY! The shade measures 15" in diameter. The 3 bulb light fixture has been totally rewired using new 3 bulb socket/wiring. It has a hang of 17" to bottom of shade but can be lengtened if desired. This will arrive ready to hang and enjoy. In Exceptionally NICE condition, the only flaw are manufacturing flaws such as straw marks, airbubbles as with all glass. A Wonderful peice of vintage lighting to compliment your period decor! Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s chrome and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! The glass scones are a cream colored glass. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. And in such fine condition. It is paired with this very nice, pale, sort of creamy beige-ish pink glass shade that is ribbed and scalloped and has no damage at all as far as chips. Cracks or scratches. Does show nicks in the paint. Normal wear for age, mainly around the flat bottom part of the shade, around the finial. I have shown this in the last 3 pics. Antique Art Deco Skyscraper Light Fixture - Milk Glass - Vintage Chandelier
Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. Exquisite Antique Ceiling Light Fixture This listing is for a unique antique ceiling light fixture. The entire fixture extends just 8 1/2" from the ceiling. The ceiling canopy measures 4 3/4" across. The frosted ribbed shade measures 5 1/4" tall. It features a fantastic scalloped edge; which gives it a square cut layered appearance. Complete with the original three tier brass finial. The canopy paint shows some light wear; and the harp is oxidized. The shade has a small crack/chip where the finial rests. It should have a washer between them. Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade
This is a Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade. The information I was given was that these shades came from the same house and that the house was built in 1921. This is one of two auctions for vintage Art Deco shades that were purchased together. The information I was given was that the other shades came from a house that was built in 1921. I was not able to find out if this shade is from the same house or not. But it looks to me like it is probably from around the same era. I do not know the age for sure. We love to combine shipping and I will be glad to quote discounted combined shipping for these two auctions. Or in combination with any of our other items on request. The shade has three graduated dimensions separated by clear rings with a beaded pattern. I would describe the color as a very pale pink. The photos are close ... moreto. But not exactly the actual color. The pink portions of the glass are decorated as seen. The shade is in excellent condition the exception of a little bit of darker pink color adjacent to the holes from which the shade will be hung. I don't know much about how the shade was made but it looks to me like the three holes for the chains that will hang the shade were cut. And the edges of the holes on the inside are a bit rough. The shades are 10 3/8" in diameter. The maximum vertical depth from the top edge to the bottom center of the shade is about 4" This old Art Deco ceiling fixture would be a beautiful focal point in any room in which it is hung. Markel Slip Shade Wall Sconce. Art Deco era and mainly these were made in the 30s. The glass is in excelle nt condition and could not find any flea bites. Obviously chips or cracks. This glass is very special and made with uranium in it, so when under b lack light it glows. Rare to find this glass still and especially in this condition. The frame is of a cast metal and heavier metal at that. It has been cleaned and r estored to a medium gold. And oil rubbed to enhance the details of the frame. The brass turn switch has been replaced with a new one and the socket and wiring also. The bulb it would take is a standard size bulb that w ith a regular base. The wattage of 60 or less is recomm ended. Especially for the presentation of the color of the shade. The stronger wattage the less color of the glass. TRIO OF GORGEOUS VINTAGE ART DECO OR ART NOUVEAU FROSTED AMBER GLASS SLIP SHADES. THESE ARE VERY UNIQUE— IN FACT. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER SET LIKE THEM. I DON'T KNOW THE MAKER OR THE EXACT AGE, BUT THESE ARE LIKELY FROM THE LATE 1920s OR 1930s. THEY HAVE A CIRCULAR FITTER THAT HAS AN OUTSIDE MEASUREMENT OF 1 5/8 INCHES. EACH SHADE IS ABOUT 6 1/2 INCHES TALL IN THE FRONT; 4 1/4 INCHES TALL IN THE BACK; 4 5/8 INCHES ACROSS AT THE WIDEST POINT; AND ABOUT 4 1/2 INCHES DEEP. THE VISIBLE PARTS OF THE SHADES ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, BUT THEY DO HAVE THE FOLLOWING FLAWS: ONE SHADE HAS A FEW SMALL HAIRLINE CRACKS IN THE FRONT NEAR THE MIDDLE OF THE SHADE TOP AND IN BACK NEAR THE RIGHT OF THE SHADE TOP. UP FOR AUCTION IS A PAIR OF ANTIQUE RETRO STYLE MILK GLASS LIGHT GLOBES. THESE ARE FABULOUS AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THEY EACH MEASURE ABOUT 11" TALL& ALMOST 12" AT THE WIDEST DIMENSION. THE OPENING MEASURES 5 3/4" FROM RIM EDGE TO RIM EDGE. THESE PROBABLY CAME OUT OF AN INDUSTRIAL OR LARGE OFFICE BUILDING AND POSSIBLY WERE USED ON LARGE CEILING FANS. THEY ARE MILK GLASS WITH BLACK STRIPES AROUND THE 3 PYRAMID EDGES. THERE IS SOME BLACK LOSS. BUT SHOULD BE EASY TOUCH UP, IF YOU EVEN DESIRE TO DO SO. THE RIM EDGES EACH HAVE SMALL FLAKE CHIPS. Salvaged from a turn of the century home that was scheduled for demolition in the 1980s– Believe this wonderful ceiling lamp light shade should date to the 1930’s/ 1940’s– This is my best guesstimate as to age– Could possibly be older– Assume collectors will know for certain– See additional shade salvaged from same house– also currently up for auction) Appears to be a mixture of Art Deco with Antique eapg elements- Glass with pendant 3 chain chandelier art deco ceiling light/ lamp shade fixture Duo color– the edges of this shade are a clear glass and the pattern is very similar to the antique eapg pattern called Beaded Medallion– The center of the shade is a cased or fired on? light peach color with petal swirls surrounding a round circular center looking similar to the Beaded Medallion pattern. BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. The wiring is cloth with some considerable wear. The chandelier measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The glass shades are 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide at the tops. They have a 1.5" fitter measurement.
