I don’t know if the tassel is silk but do know that it’s a remarkable feature. And incredible that it has survived. I’ve only ever seen such a feature in old catalogs; this is the first time I’ve ever found one intact. It’s also in good shape. I removed it, gently vacuumed, and replaced it with no loss. The chandelier is also breathtaking. This is Riddle at their best. The whole is an astonishing symphony of curving. Intersecting shapes. Wow. Wow! I love just looking at it. In addition. The chandelier retains its original polychrome. Amazing. The mains colors are a coppery gold and antiqued silver. Gorgeous. There are subtle accents of green, red, and blue. Yum. I have never previously offered chandeliers quite like them: The original candle covers are metal. And have a textured faux finish including drips. I also like how they taper. Very cool. The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. It was a thrill to at last purchase them. They are so very beautiful; I love just simply staring at them. Wholly restored and with new wiring. I’m very pleased to offer this unusual and charming 1920s pan-style 3-bulb pendant! This is the first pan-style fixture I’ve ever offered whereby the bulbs are attached directly to the main body. Normally. The bulbs are in a separate socket housing, and hang down from the body by at least one chain ... morelink. Moreover. The sockets are surrounded by a leaf cluster. Yep, really charming. The fixture makes me smile. There is also a sweet on/off switch(just to the right of the finial in the images) So. The fixture can be controlled via the switch, or a wall switch(assuming the room is wired as such) The exposed wire is new and cloth-covered like the original. The two-toned finish is original. And in good condition. There are subtle age spots and subtle tonal irregularities. There is a Canadian UL stamp. The fixture is not large. And is intended for a foyer or bedroom. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Happily, I will let you know where to get them. The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: Two-toned bronze. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 21-1/2-inches and is 10-inches wide. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and stunning 1920s 5-bulb chandelier most likely by the Edward F. Riddle company of Toledo! The chandelier is in stunning.untouched.original vintage condition! It would look great over an oval or rectangular dining table. I love the original polychrome finish! Above all though is the intricate. Lush, and incredibly beautiful lower section of the chandelier. Wow. Wow! The whole is an open filigree. Yep, wow. The finish is a rich burnished polychrome in Gold with accents of red,blue and green. Distinctive ceiling canopy. Wiring is original!
