3 Victorian Electric Brass Wall Sconces Early 1900's
Set of three wall sconces. These were early electric and the shade holder shows dates from the 1890's. One of the three has be refinished and rewired. All ready to go! Two of them need some polishing. The only thing I see missing are the set screws for two shade holders. The conical wall mount is 5 inches in diameter and the distance from the wall is 10 1/2 inches.

Matching Set of 3 Brass Wall Sconces Victorian Nouveau Shades WEBER Sockets
Three restored. Matching, early 20th century brass interior wall sconces. Backplates are decorated with stepped rings around the perimeter. Cast brass arm is profusely ornate and features a WEBER turnkey socket inside of a 2 1/4" shade holder. Sockets have been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. Each measures 10" tall x 4 1/4" wide x 6" deep. All shades have some rubs around the fitter area. One shade has some rubs on the exterior. See image 6. Ca. 1920's matched pair of double candle Victorian Gothic electric wall sconces
Another of my"absolute auctions" 99 cent start& no dreaded reserve. BARN FRESH" from Alabama(really) I did evicted the spiders(and other critters) However(comma) these have not been cleaned. Not rewired, not tested. nice and dusty with all the"original" dirt, spider webs, roach poop& patina included! These are real"Adam's Family" or the Munster's) decor. VERY COOL. Herman Munster would be proud to own these! Lots of 80- 90 year old original paint left on these fellows(see photos) No notable damage to the main support structure on these nice lamps(you will need to find a good mounting bolt for the center hole(see photos) The main structure is a cast metal. It is not cast iron as the metal is not magnetic. The"tin" bobeches(wax catchers) are bent/banged-up a bit. easily corrected ... moreby the proud new owner. The sockets are dirty. They were removed from a home that was built in the late 1800's. I have reason to believe these lights were original to the home- making them well over 115 years old! These sconces came from the same estate as all the bother sconces we have listed this week. These feature a back plate of grapes with the vines and leaves swooping out in an S fashion to hold the holder part. They're cast from either brass or bronze. Can't really tell as the patina is real dark. A magnet sticks very slightly to the holder part so they must be plated. Each holder has remnants of a candle in them. Featured is a stunning pair of antique Victorian style dore' bronze wall sconces. These came from a brownstone home in Brooklyn. NY for nearly 100 years untouched. The original finish was left intact, which is a gold outer coating that is typically referred to as gold gilt. Truly stunning finish to behold. They look like gold! Each one has incredible details in the cast bronze metal-work that is carried through to the stunning bobeches and candle holders. The finish is in excellent untouched condition. All we did in our 43 year old restoration shop is gently clean them. No chemicals or corrosives. The gold gilt is nicely preserved, which is not common, as people try and use brass cleaners on it and ruin the finish gets ruined. These are excellent! When we got them, they have the original wiring and still worked!
