Antique Pair of 22" Tall French Brass Mirrored Candle Sconces
This is a fabulous Antique Pair of French Solid Brass Candle Sconces that stand 22" tall with an oval mirror that is 6.5" x 8.5" tall. The arms are twisted and measure 3.5" deep x 4" long. The candle cup is 2" x 2.5" with holes should you choose to put crystals on them( these do not come with the crystals) The top Urn& flame design is 7" from the mirror and the bottom 7" from the bottom of the mirror. The mirrors are original and the backing is felt. Excellent condition with original patina. They will be taken apart for safe shipping.

The deeply sculpted glass slip shades have dark enamel tinting to accentuate the decorative floral designs. The backplates are antique brass with some red enamel details. Sterling Bronze Company Antique Wall Sconces
Antique wall sconces from the early 20th century(Remains Lighting Company of New York has estimated the age to be circa 1900-1910) These are a pair of solid brass wall sconces from the famous"Sterling Bronze Company" of New York. Late 1800's- early 1900's. They are Baluster form. Double light sconces in their original finish. They have fluted arms and turned wax pans/ candle cups. Their approximate dimensions are. Height 17 1/4" width 10 3/4" depth 6 1/4" Their weight is approximately 7 pounds each(total 14 pounds) They are in very good condition. But there is some wear that you would expect from an antique. Their patina is slightly worn in some areas. There are a few random paint"sprinkles" from a house repaint in the 1960's. The back side of one of the sconces is missing the back wall hook/holder ... moreand as a solution to hanging the sconce safely, a small hole was drilled at the top of the sconce to hang it on the wall securely(see picture) Rewiring the wall sconces would also be advisable, although they were in working condition when they were last attached to the wall before removal. These beautiful solid brass wall sconces came from an eleven bedroom mansion located along the Historic Main Line in Rosemont Pennsylvania. The architect of this mansion was Frank H. Furness(1839-1912) Acclaimed American Architect of The Victorian Era. I had these wall sconces appraised by Ball and Ball. vtg antique lot of 4 Riddle metal electric wall sconces 1 & 2 arms shield motif
Hi up for sale is lot of 4 antique cast metal wall sconces. There are 2 with two arms and 2 with one arm. They have a shield like motif. The double armed ones are 9 1/2" tall at the center part. And about 9 1/2" across. They stick out 3 1/4" the paper socket covers that look like candles are 5" tall, they have some wear. The single ones are 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" across. All have turn switches toward the bottoms, all have the hangers that the finials go through the centers, one is already attached in the pic. They are in good shape, have some finish wear. I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking pair of 1930s chrome and glass sconces by Levolite. And from their After Daylight line! The glass scones are a cream colored glass. Not painted glass but solid cream glass in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It’s incredibly hard finding such a pair with their glass shades in excellent condition. For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. Maybe from the 1930's The mark used is c. 1914-1930's and can be found in the Dresden Porcelain Studios Book by Harrans. Page 180. Handmalerei is German for hand painted These great looking sconces have a very ornate design They're in working condition. But feel free to have them checked out by a professional for your own protection There are 2 cut out notches on the back of each sconce(see pic 20) so they can be hung on the wall. These are already wired to 10' cords with plugs on the ends to be plugged right in the wall or the cords removed and hard wired right to the wall These wall sconces are in really good condition for their age. But there are a couple minor ... moreissues to mention Unfortunately there is 1 repair on one of the sconces near the top(see pics 20-21) it is hardly noticeable and there is also part of the green leaf missing in that same pic#20 In the last two pics there's part of a flower petal missing on 1 flower in each pic. Again they'll never be noticed unless you know they're there The arms on these sconces are all plastered into place. But they are all a little loose and wiggle a little bit from them being picked up by the arms. It does not compromise them in any way and are still firmly in place. The y both have hard to read marks on the back- looks like DEP.MUSTER. Each scon ce stands out from the wall about 9 3/4 inches(24.8 cm) The flat piece that mounts to the wall measures about 4 3/4 inches(12.1 cm) top to bottom and 2 3/4 inches(7 cm) across at the widest point. Some points on condition: the pins on which these sconces swivel are different and likely not original. There is some pitting and greenish oxidation(see pictures) also some very small age/stress cracks that do not affect either the look or structural integrity of these sconces. very good condition considering age(not sure exactly around 1940's my guess sockets may have been replaced or rewired plastic insulation) one glass globe has tiny chip on top but also has the frosted look so my have come from factory. 3/8" thick glass. frosted and hand painted. globes are 7 1/2" tall 5" wide and 4" deep. sconces are light weight pot metal or aluminum not sure non magnetic. they are dark brown. not sure if original paint but they do match shades. they measure 9 3/8 x 5 1/2. very ornate. no markings that i can see except on leviton sockets/switches. one is missing switch nob but still seems to work.

They are unsigned but of excellent quality and probably either French or American made. They are in perfect condition with the original patina. GORGEOUS PAIR OF BRASS? SCONCES I think these are made of brass. They have a nice weight to them. They have gorgeous putti angels inside with a dog, and barbola roses and the tops have bows and tassels at the bottom. They are in good vintage condition, one arm has a tiny bent mark in it, I show in photo number 10, its minor but there. Very pretty, not sure if they work but wiring is there and it doesnt look that old. Not sure on age or origin but I dont think these are new. Measure: about 16" long x about 8.5" wide at arms and stand a little under 5" from wall. PAIR ANTIQUE FUNKY BRASS 7 LIGHT WALL SCONCES MENORAH JUDAICA
Hi. Here is a great pair of antique/vintage wall sconces, each one in the shape of a Temple Menorah with 7 arms, they would look amazing on any wall, the wiring is original so i would have it checked with an electrition, but it is all there, all original. i did not polish the brass so it is in old patina finish. The menorah part is all brass, the backplate is metal that has been gilded. the turn on and off switch is on the back plate and there are two holes for mounting to the wall. the wiring, like i said is all there from all 7 lights to the back. the pair are big measuring 14 3/4 inches long and 11 inches wide at the widest point.the sconces the backplate measures 5" round and are 6.5 inches deep, that means when mounted on the wall they protrude 6.5 inches from the wall. great for lighting a special spot. And with 7 small candelabra ... morebulbs, you will have a great look on the wall. they have an old look. With nice detailing on the front the brass is worn as is the back plate, you can polish up or use as they are. the candlestick parts are covered with white candle covers, and all the insides are there. i have not lit them, i would check with electrition or good handy man before using them. they are as found in an estate. They were stored in the attic for many years, ok the history of them is this, one member of the family said they were in their grandmother's home in the study over the grandfather's desk area, and that they were there for over 80 years, the other family member said that the family story was that they belonged to an older family relative who was a Rabbi and very learned, and he gave them to the grandfather, that is all I know about them, I purchased them a number of years ago and have stored them but never used them. so here they are to sell and find a new home. if you have any other questions email them to me before bidding. thanks so much. Pair of Spectacular Antique Rock Crystal Sconces. It doesn't get any better than these gorgeous large beaded sconces. Incredible beaded domes with flower in center. These definitely make a statement. One sconce is missing three beads on the side. But with the amount of beads on these sconces, it is not noticeable. Two candle lights on each sconce. There are holes in the gold bobeche cups, so you can add prisms if desired. There are some superficial small cracks in the metal and some white paint mostly on the back of the sconces.
