I absolutely love this mirror! With a little TLC. My husband& I were able to bring it back to life: This mirror is probably around 100 years old or more! It is such a pretty ornate carved wood frame…not composite! Mirror glass has beveled edge. There are 2 small areas of the gesso detailing are missing. Mirror frame has been painted in layers of white& creamy white chalk paint. Slightly distressed to show original gold throughout and given a top coat of protective wax. Mirror has some aged glass and shows patina, but as expected with a piece this old! Mirror still has a nice reflection and is in very good condition! This mirror was my Parents. They purchased it in Williamsburg in the late 1960's so it does have great age. Handmade of Mahogany. It has the patina of a well cared for piece of furniture. condition Chippendale style with hand wrought nails in the back. It is made as an eighteenth century one would have been. Great size. It measures 19 3/8" x 12" Good size for a small entryway or hall. I do have another available. Great condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. Excuse the fingerprints in the third photo! Antique 1800 Chippendale mirror Very unique small size I have been selling and buying antiques for years and years. This is the first time that I've seen one this size. I just love it! Here is a really cool vintage Mirror with built in Light. It measures 9.5" high. The light shines through the bottom area of the mirror. The mirror has a mark with discoloration above the area where the light comes through. It is about 1.75" across. See photo. The light does not work but the bulb does not seem to be broken. This will probably clean. Back cardboard cover has some soiling and moisture circles from age. Very nice item measuring 16" in length and 10 3/4" wide. Frame is a cast metal that a magnet sticks to. I do not know if it is cast iron, it is heavy metal with bronze coloring. No breaks in metal.

Up for auction is an larger rectangular antique 19th C early cast gesso leaf and berry cross hatch decorated gold frame recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. The frame itself is in good condition. But there is some very minor wear in the corners. It can be easily touched-up or blended in. Up for auction is an small rectangular antique 19th C early cast gesso leaf and berry cross hatch decorated gold frame recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. The frame itself is in good condition. But there is some very minor wear in the corners. It can be easily touched-up or blended in. I am uncertain if the mirror is original, although I lean on the side that it is a replacement however. It is missing its original hanger. Lovely Small Vintage G Vanghi Florence Hand Made Italy Florentine Wall Mirror O.K. So I spent allllll day yesterday shopping for you and came home with a truck-full. I’m so excited to show you what I have! Lots of antiques; primitive to retro to deco to Victorian pretties, advertising, and just cool stuff. I’ll take me a white to list, so be sure to keep checking! Gosh. It seems like a white since I have sold a piece of Italian Florentine- and I actually found two in my treasure hunts this week- so be sure to check my other listings too. This listing is for a wonderful small wall mirror, tagged on the back that reads, Hand Made in Italy, Style B350M, G. Vanghi- Florence. The mirror measures 7 1/4" by 5 3/8" on the ouside of the frame and the mirror alone/inside the frame measures 5 1/4" by 3 1/2" It is in excellent solid ... moreand sturdy condition structurally. The frame is sound and the mirror is without cracks or chips that I can see. There's ripping to the paper at the back on the upper left hand side- the type caused by pushing in, and it looks like the paper has darkened with age- there's caramel colored stains/marks all over that look like foxing. The finish on the frame shows some wear and chipping that I think is minor, especially for old Florentine. See photo 5 where there's some chipping on the inside. You can see some wear spots on the perimeter/side of the frame too- little white dots. The largest chip is on the lower left side and it's about 1/4" long- that's the one in photo 5. Everything else is much smaller. You can see what appears to be crackling or crazing to both the gold and the gorgeous medium blue finish on the frame- I think it just makes the piece look yummy and it shows its age. It weighs just over 1/4 lb. The mirror could use a good cleaning. I do not clean or mess with as found patina in any way. There's very light scratching on the mirror, but the reflection is nice. There is an etched design which has a raised effect but is flat to the touch. There are 3 flower shape brass screws. The wood frame may be MAHAGONY with gold& silver gilt paint. Cluster of flowers at top& smaller flowers cascading on top sides. There is a braided silver& gold wire with a hand sewn"button" tassel decoration. A few areas of fraying. I love old hand mirrors- have one in every bathroom and in the bedrooms. Too- just can't get enough of them! This gorgeous antique beauty had me at hello, for sure; it's one of the largest hand mirrors that I have seen. And, a unique shape, too, with a wide sideways oval. The frame is made from solid wood with a black painted finish that shows wear in all the right places- like on the handle, and the mirror have a beveled edge and a wonderful reflection. It measures 14 5/8" ... moretop to bottom, and the mirrored end is 9 3/4" wide on the outside. The mirror alone is 8 3/4" by 6 3/4. It weighs just over 1 lb. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition overall. The mirror has a number of teenie black silver loss spots that are hard to see, with a little more around the edges of the wood frame, but still minor. No cracks or chips and the reflection is nice. You can see the old wavy glass of the mirror when you look at it from the side. The wood frame is totally sound. I'm showing in photo 5 of the top and photo 6 of the bottom inside rim two areas where the wood has just a hairline of space- I don't know if they are cracks, or seam meet marks that have separated a little, but there is absolutely no movement there at all, even when I push on the spots. The handle has significant wear to the finish where you can see down to the wood- see my photos. You can see smaller spots of finish wear an the body/back and sides of the mirror too. There's minor scratches, scrapes, nicks, dings and shallow divots to the wood but overally, I think it's in pretty awesome shape for being an antique- I wouldnt' change a thing. Love it and use i

Antique Jacobean Gothic Wood Carved Eagle Type Gargoyle& Swirls. Framed Wall Mirror is up for auction. This framed wall mirror is very unusual which I had purchased about 10- twenty years ago from a very interesting home In Scarsdale N. Y. of Gothic& Jacobean furniture& accessories. The frame is hand carved with this fabulous eagle(Gargoyle type) spreading it's wings front& top center surrounded by swirls. Fern& flowers. The vintage mirror is very good quality& I do believe it has been replaced& packing tape was used to keep it in place instead of the usual nails. It does need a hook to hang it. It looks English to me& the wood has a dark stain on it so I cannot tell what kind of wood it is. This auction is for an Large older octogan shaped oak frame with Jacobean Accents as well as having lots of bead Trim and Carved accented trim around the outside edge with a beveled edge mirror from England. This is a true wall mirror. It did not come off a dresser. The clarity is very good for it's age. It has some small dark spots on the silvering. This is an older mirror, more than likely 80 to 90 years old or older and for it's age& travels it's in good overall condition but it is not Perfect. Antique Ornate French Victorian Boudoir Vanity Table Mirror Gold Bronze Brass ?
This heavy. Solid Antique 1800's Ornate French Table or Boudoir Mirror is in excellent condition. The original mirror is in great condition with no cracks, chips, damage, black or dull spots to the mirror. I have shown several pictures so you can get a good look at the mirror. Any specks on the mirror in the pictures are dust and are not permanent marks on the mirror. The heavy ornate gold stand is also in great condition with no damage. It still has the original green felt backing and original clips holding the mirror in place. The stand is very solid and holds the mirror securely on a dresser, dressing table or desk. It is embossed with the numbers 08576 on the bottom edge of the stand. It is very heavy and solid. This mirror has been stored in a dresser drawer for well over 40 years, until it was recently discovered, and was rarely ... moreused. I was told it was from the 1800's. It is approximately 2 inches tall and 9 inches wide. I am not positive how to describe this mirror. I am not sure if it is considered French Bronze or something else. Antique Victorian Ebonized Eastlake Wall Dressing Mirror
This is a charming original turn-of-the-century antique Eastlake wall mirror with peaks on both sides. A curved top, carved lines, dots, and floral details, and some ebonizing around the inner edge of the frame and on bands across the top and bottom of each side. The solid wood frame is in good/very good condition with minor wear to the finish(light scuffs, scratches, and a few tiny chips) All corners are tight, and nothing is broken or missing, but there is a crack on the decorative peak on the upper right corner(along the bottom edge of the peak) However, it is mainly cosmetic and has not weakened the frame in any way. There are also two small screw hoes on the curved top piece. I don't know what they were for because it doesn't look like anything elase was attached. The glass is original and a little unusual because it has a slightly ... morebluish hue. It is in good condition as well. But there is some silver loss and spottiness along the bottom edge(shown close-up in the photos) The remainder of the mirror has some very light cloudiness, but it not very noticeable. The outer dimensions of the mirror are about 19" W x 30 1/2" H. It will be packed securely. Double boxed, and insured during shipping.

Antique French Country Gold wall mirror: classic gold painted wood post 1940
This exquisite mirror is victorian in style and is made of gilded wood. I think it is from the 1900-1940 and is in excellent condition. It is very ornate and measures 23" by 28 1/2" It is rare and so is hard to duplicate but definitely has that French country look. The carving is exquisite.
