Offered is a Vintage Art Deco Era Beveled Vanity or Shaving Mirror. It stands approx. 11 ¾” tall. The round mirror frame is not perfectly circular nor oval shaped. But somewhere in between. It measures approx. 6 ¼” in diameter top to bottom. And 6” in diameter side to side. The mirror is in good vintage condition with no cracks. It appears that there was at one time a backing. Possibly thin wood or cardboard on the back of the mirror. The mirror moves around within the frame, but is still firmly intact. The origin of the wooden dowel on back is unknown. It may or may not have been original and underneath the backing. Overall. The condition is consistent with that of 75 to 80+ year old antique wares. This mirror is circa 1920's to late 1930's. The mirror frame is made of metal, gold color, has an embossed floral and leaf design around the entire mirror, the ring that holds the mirror has a matching design around it as well, the ring has two decorative feet that are very ornate with an art nouveau and floral design, top of the ring has an acanthus and flower design emblem, the mirror is held on by a leaf design bracket on each side, mirror also tilts, has four lights attached to the ring(bulbs included) and has an easel stand that allows you to place mirror on any surface. The cord has a dial switch that will allow you to turn the lights on and off. Back of mirror has a silver paper backing. This mirror measures about 17¾" tall. The actual mirror part measures about 17¼" x 13¼" And the base is around 17¼" x 6" x ¾" The mirror can be adjusted by turning the two decorative screws on the sides. There are a few small age spots on the mirror itself but nothing serious. There are also some scrapes on the finish. Especially where the mirror meets the bottom board. This piece is a off white finish painted(which can certainly be re-painted) iron base with a Dragon/Bird Head on each side holding the mirror with decorative flower buds accents around the mirror. At the topis a Nude lady/cherub surrounded by flowers. Open cut pattern. Swirls and medallions create a stunning mirror with a Victorian decor. This piece stands approximately 14¼" tall. Dragon head to head 10" round/oval mirror 6" diameter. Seems to be in overall good condition. At the bottom of the mirror as shown has some discoloration ... moreat the bottom see last photo. Both pieces have areas of small paint loss. And discoloration spots as if it were brass type spots, can be easily cleaned or touched up with paint or leave as is for the Vintage look decor. Up for bid is an antique Cast Iron Iron Art Vanity/Dresser Mirror. It stands 16 tall x 9 wide. The mirror is framed in a floral cast iron frame. The framed mirror tilts. Too. The mirror is present but it has spotting here and there. The mirror can be easily removed if you want to replace it. The cast iron is a creamy white color. There are a couple of splotches of white paint in 2 spots to the left of the top on the cast iron. There is some rust on the base. Some minor chipping of the paint surface and some wearing of the paint where it is screwed into the base. Bottom is stamped IRON ART JM-8. Really Nice looking Female figural Art Nouveau Tilt Shaving Mirror with beveled glass. Photos show more of the back of the mirror due to the difficulty in photographing mirrors. The glass has some freckling and spots where the silvering on the back is going away. The body of this mirror and stand is mostly iron that has been plated with something. Magnets stick but not well. Maybe a bronze overlay. The metal has age related patina and discoloration. Some rust in places. This mirror stands about 15-1/2" tall.
