The mirror portion measures approx. 12.5” in height. Total height of mirror from base to tip of mirror is 15.5” in height. Mirror length from left to right including brass frame is 8 3/4” at widest point. The mirror has very old red/burgundy felt backing which is quite faded. Offered is a Vintage Art Deco Era Beveled Vanity or Shaving Mirror. It stands approx. 11 ¾” tall. The round mirror frame is not perfectly circular nor oval shaped. But somewhere in between. It measures approx. 6 ¼” in diameter top to bottom. And 6” in diameter side to side. The mirror is in good vintage condition with no cracks. It appears that there was at one time a backing. Possibly thin wood or cardboard on the back of the mirror. The mirror moves around within the frame, but is still firmly intact. The origin of the wooden dowel on back is unknown. It may or may not have been original and underneath the backing. Overall. The condition is consistent with that of 75 to 80+ year old antique wares. This mirror is circa 1920's to late 1930's. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN WALNUT DRESSING TABLE DRESSER TILT ARCH TOP MIRROR
Please scroll down under this description for 34 additional views. 19th century antique dressing table mirror. 23" wide across the base, 22 1/2" tall, 8" deep base. The mirror which has a gently arched top is 13 3/4" wide and 17" high. The mirror frame is veneered with a slight convex surface. The mirror supports are solid wood with rope turnings over a stacked round base and are topped with turned finials. There are three simple feet under the bombe front base. The top surface and side are veneered- lovely figuring to the walnut veneer on the top surface. I am not sure if this is the original finish but I think it is- it shows some faint alligatoring and has wonderful rich color. There is an area of veneer loss on the far left end of the base and a little ding on the back of the base behind the mirror support. A ... morebit of wood is missing from one of the supports- it's on the back side and won't be noticed. The mirror has some tiny black spots on the surface- more prevalent and noticeable on the edges. The finish has some marks and scratches but I think perfectly acceptable for the age of the piece. Up for bid is an antique Cast Iron Iron Art Vanity/Dresser Mirror. It stands 16 tall x 9 wide. The mirror is framed in a floral cast iron frame. The framed mirror tilts. Too. The mirror is present but it has spotting here and there. The mirror can be easily removed if you want to replace it. The cast iron is a creamy white color. There are a couple of splotches of white paint in 2 spots to the left of the top on the cast iron. There is some rust on the base. Really Nice looking Female figural Art Nouveau Tilt Shaving Mirror with beveled glass. Photos show more of the back of the mirror due to the difficulty in photographing mirrors. The glass has some freckling and spots where the silvering on the back is going away. The body of this mirror and stand is mostly iron that has been plated with something. Magnets stick but not well. Maybe a bronze overlay. The metal has age related patina and discoloration. Some rust in places. This mirror stands about 15-1/2" tall. Up for auction is this wonderful ornate Antique Victorian Cast Iron dresser. Table, vanity mirror in a gothic style. It measures 16 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches wide, it has a nice rusty patina, with no damage to the cast iron. on the back it is stamped Iron Art JM27. Vintage Victorian iron vanity mirror white table stand tilt cherubs
This lovely mirror has been in my family for years. But now that we are downsizing. We simply will not have room for it in our small house in Florida.
