TRAVEL MIRROR BEVELED LEAD GLASS ART DECO c1920's EASEL
Offerd for your consideration is this lovely Nickel over brass plated Travel mirror with easel stand back. The easel is retractable in that it will lay flat against the mirror backing to pack easily for traveling. The easel is also stable and sturdy when open for use. The mirror can stand either vertically or horizontally so you can easily adjust the viewing angle of the mirror to suit you. The beveled glass mirror is thick and substantial and has a few spots of missing silver backing as seen in photo#1. The back of the mirror is covered with an ornate embossed printed paper cardboard with some of the paper torn off. The overall measurement is 8 3/4" tall(from top to little ball feet) by 6 1/4" wide. A very unusual antique Bradley and Hubbard frame measuring 8 5/8 by 11 inches(22 by 28 cm) Black finished iron reeded sides with attached ormolu brass decoration Easel back with an ornate gilt patinated iron foot Old heavy beveled glass mirror with a tin back held on with 4 screws(3 are missing) Marked on the back with a cast"B&H 1916" The frame is in very nice condition with a bit of patina to the original old finish and no damage. Antique gold or gilt painted cast iron easel framed mirror. It measures 17 1/2" x 13 1/2" with a mirror that measures 7 3/4" x 9 3/4" The beveled mirror shows quite a few age spots and has some rough edges behind the framing. It's the original mirror I believe. The easel stand has a small little loop broken off the very end(photo 6) There are no broken areas on the frame itself. This stunning. Framed vanity mirror measures 12" diameter at its widest point. The beveled mirror glass is approximately 9" diameter. Its distressed metal frame is quite heavy and has an easel back. It was used in my late aunt's boudoir, displayed flat on her bureau with whatnots and perfume bottles on top. The glass is unblemished. Very pretty!

It is an easel depicting a barefoot black man with a bow on his shoulder. Holding an arrow in his hand. It has a mirror that slides in place. The mirror is the original. It is beveled and in very good condition. There are no chips or dings. Considering its age, it is in really great condition. The easel itself is made of a heavy substantail metal, perhaps bronze, but I am not sure. The piece has wonderful detail. I lightened it up a little to better show some of the detail. The mirror has a wide bevel, telltale of its age. The mirror is loose and could use solid attachment. The celluloid frame measure 8 inches wide, 9 inches tall. Check out this offering of a gorgeous and ornate late 1800's gilt cast iron framed mirror! The intricate design involves a scrolled leaf motif with a small bouquet a the top(accented with pink) with additional pink accent at the bottom center. This mirror has a hinged easel back for display on a dresser or vanity but could also be hung quite easily if desired. The original beveled mirror is intact with no cracks but there is a small chip in the upper right and there are spots on the silver backing that are missing. The original paperboard back is still in place. While the mirror itself is not perfect. It produces a good image overall. It could be repaired or replaced easily if you didn't want to keep the original charm- ... morefurther, you could replace the mirror with a picture and use this item for it's frame appeal. Antique French bronze mirror with easel stand
Found in France. This lovely mirror is a study in aesthetic design. The frame is a simple oval. With around it a twisted rope motif and around that a continuous cord that is wound around the piece in graceful swirls, embellished with bronze flower decorations. The actual mirror is original to the piece and has a beautiful bevel with small“teeth” ground into the bevel. It dates to the last quarter of the 19 th century. The piece is in remarkable condition: there are some scratches to the glass and one of the small clips that holds the mirror backing in place is loose. No other flaws. Up for auction today is this Beautiful Antique Victorian Large Gilt Ormolu Cast iron and Brass Easel Back Mirror. The piece measures 11 1/2" wide. And is 9 1/4" tall. The mirror itself measures 7 1/2" wide by 5 1/4" tall. It has a 1/2" beveled edge in the mirror. There is appropriate age wear to the silvering, but nothing bad or detracting. The entire piece is Adorned with 3 Cherubs one at the Top and one on Each Side. The easel back is solid Brass, probably done that way because of the strength needed for support. There is a No. on the back which I have taken a photo of, it is no. 546, and this Mirror was probably made by Jennings Brothers, or Bradley and Hubbard. It is done very well and the Gilt Ormolu is dark and rich with very little if any wear to it. This Mirror was very well cared for. No breaks, or chips ... moreor dents. And very heavy. Vintage Oval Barbola Mirror with Curved Footed Easel Back
Up for auction is a vintage barbola mirror. It features a gold painted easel back and an 8 3/4" spray of originally finished flowers. The overall height of the mirror is 16 1/2" by 10" wide. Instead of the typical bun feet this mirror features curved feet that were cut out with the easel. The flowers are pretty much intact-a few chips. Possibly a few small pieces missing but nothing very noticeable-it does not detract from its overall beauty. The paint is very faded but has not been touched up or refinished. Beautiful Rustic Primitive Antique Saving Mirror On Wire Wireware Easel Stand Now here's one that you don't see every day! It's a beautiful antiwue shaving mirror in its original wireware stand. The mirror has a scalloped beveled edge- it is very old. As you can see. It's mounted onto the stand in turned to a diamond shape, although the mirror is actually 6" square. On the stand, it is 8 3/4" tall. It weighs 1 1/2 lbs. The stand reaches up and grips it with two wire fingers at the top, and hugs it in a divot at the legs at the bottom- it's very sturdy, and does not move at all inside the stand, even when I tried to force it. There's a brown paper board backing that looks to be original. It is peeling off a little at two of the corners, but is still well attached to the back. The mirros has lots of lines of ... moresilver loss that I did my best to have you see in the photos. It was hard to get them because the mirror actually has a really nice reflection around these lines- so it's still quite useable. In additon to that, there's small chips to the scalloped edge all the way around- on the edge, and very tiny and really hards to see because of the design of the bevel. They are also very consistent with the glass of similar style that I have sold of this age. Please see my close ups. There's no large chips or cracks- no major structural issues at all. From the side, the 3/8" thick glass takes on a green hue. The tin wire has a gorgeous age darkened patina that is so dark and old- it just works with this primitive oldee. I'm downsizing from my Victorian so I must put up some of my items for sale. This is a really nice cast iron frame from National Brass& Iron Works. It has cherubs on the top and the sides. Dimensions: 10-1/2" wide 9-3/4" tall 1/2 to about 4 when easel is fully extended Condition: No chips or cracks to the metal I believe the frame was repainted before I got it. It has white paint with areas highlighted in brass or gold colored paint. The glass is possibility original.nearly 1/4" thick. It does have one mark on the silver which I photographed. Antique Beveled Standing Vanity Mirror For your consideration. Here is a lovely piece from days gone by. This heavy mirror, including its wood frame, measures 11 1/4" wide x 9 3/8" high. There is a 1/2" metal band which swings around three sides; this acts as the easel or alternately to hang the piece. The two upper corners have a decorative metal adornment; it appears there had been matching ones on the lower corners in the past, but they are gone. Each side corner of the frame has 1/2" wide metal"L" shape brackets. One upper corner of the frame is broken and a former owner deftly made it work long ago with a cool very old wing nut. Also, a small portion of wire was installed at the top for hanging. VICTORIAN GILT METAL FRAMED MIRROR EASEL NB&IW ANTIQUE CHERUBS NATIONAL BRASS
Estate sale find. An ornate Victorian age; gilt metal framed; oval beveled mirror. The frame measures roughly 10 ½” x 10 ½” The beveled mirror is free of chips or cracks. The ornate frame features cherubs, floral decorations, and lattice work. The frame is marked NB&IW with the pattern number 2000. This piece is made by the National Brass& Iron Works which operated in Reading PA. from 1891-1911. The foot of the easel is broken off, but the mirror still sits at a nice usable angle. The color of the wood is a nice dark color. It has a lot of age to it. It was sold at an estate sale in Pasadena. California. but since there are no marking to determine age, please look at the photos closely to judge age for yourself. Being sold"as is" as a decorative item with no warranty as to exact age or origin. CONDITION: There are some noticeable scuffs and scratches. It is an old piece. Here for your consideration is a nice old Victorian Mirror. It can be hung or set on a table as it has an easel back. It measures 14x10" and the inner part is 8x 3 3/4" It is marked on the back Pat. July 1894. Mirror has some gray spots. Brass has a patina and left unpolished.
