This stunning. Framed vanity mirror measures 12" diameter at its widest point. The beveled mirror glass is approximately 9" diameter. Its distressed metal frame is quite heavy and has an easel back. It was used in my late aunt's boudoir, displayed flat on her bureau with whatnots and perfume bottles on top. The glass is unblemished. Very pretty!

The mirror portion measures approx. 12.5” in height. Total height of mirror from base to tip of mirror is 15.5” in height. Mirror length from left to right including brass frame is 8 3/4” at widest point. The mirror has very old red/burgundy felt backing which is quite faded. Nice Antique Gold Gilt Cast Iron Cherub Angel Dresser Vanity Boudoir Mirror
This mirror has a heavy cast iron frame with a nice metallic gold finish and original mirror inside. The frame is fantastic with kissing angels at the top. Cascading flowers and ribbon down one side, a bountiful harvest of fruits and vegetables with ribbon cascading down the other side, and two winged cherubs standing atop faces of evil at their feet. Their is almost no paint loss or dark spots on the frame, but the glass has some light spottiness throughout, although images are still pretty clear throughout. Outer measurements of the frame are 15 3/4" x 13" and there is folding foot on the back that swings out about 4" The frame is marked JM 10 on the back.

The back of the middle panel is covered with a leather-style board. This mirror sits elevated on 4 decorative little feet, and is finished off with brass scrollwork along the top of the central panel, and a heavy chain for hanging. The hinges operate smoothly, and the mirror can be displayed in folded form in tight spaces. Fully opened, measures ~13in tall X 33&1/2in wide, with a 13in long chain for hanging. In closed position, measures ~13in tall X 17&1/2in wide. Richly patinaed over time, this mirror is in overall good condition considering age, with age-related yellowing, mild soilage, dustiness, and superficial scratches. Sublime antique French marriage stand, boudoir mirror. Gilt & red velvet! c1840
This is a sublime antique French marriage stand dating from the early to mid 1800s. Measuring approx 22" tall x 13" wide it would originally have had a glass dome over the top which would have protected it from smokey rooms and damaging sunlight. Dripping with faded chateau grandeur these fabulously opulent pieces were given to the bride on her wedding day. There would have been much competition between brides as to who had the most intricately decorated stands as well as between families as to the status in affording the most beautiful stand. When new it the bride would have placed her waxed flower tiara or headdress on the velvet cushion as well as other precious mementos of the day all protected beneath the glass. They were made with deliberate symbology with regards to the number and shape of the mirrors as well as the leaves ... moreand flowers in gilded pressed bronze surrounding the whole. I am told that the the smaller mirrors were representative of the number and sex of the children the marriage was/would be graced with. Certainly the bird at the very top of the stand is depicting love. Fruitfulness and an ever upward flight. This stand has 4 mirrors. The central one has a beautifully delicate hand painted floral decoration within its 6 sides. All the mirrors have bevelled edges(always a sign of quality! and the two mirror-image side ones have additional gilded decoration on them. I have seen a fair few of these over the years but this is one of the most decorative ones I have ever seen! I've certainly never seen another with quite so much gilded decoration on it with 30 leaves alone! The stand does let it down a little but can easily be replaced if preferred.

VTG Tri Fold Mirror Dresser Vanity Boudoir Shabby Cottage Hanging or Tabletop
You are looking at a great Tri Fold Vanity Mirror. The mirror is in great original condition with one small chip on the bottom left side when you are facing the mirror. I did picture it. I did not see it until I looked very carefully at every edge. There is not any ghosting of the mirror that I can see. The center mirror measures approximately 18" tall x 11.75" wide. The side mirrors are about 15.75" tall x 5.75" wide. The hinges are covered with the original felt like fabric. I have sold a lot of mirrors before. But have never seen this. Antique Beveled Glass Vanity Mirror Today I've brought an old tri-fold beveled glass mirror made sometime between late 1800s and early 1900s. This came out of a 1920s bungalow in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. The glass is very thick and heavy.it has a great bevel to it(see photo)it is backed by a piece of thick wood and has little round brass rosettes that secure the mirror to the wood. This beauty was actually on the wall of the bathroom. However, it is a 3 piece mirror and would look wonderful on a vanity or dresser. Measurements. This piece is 24 1/2" long and 20" high(at highest point) It weighs a hefty 10 lb 6 oz before boxing to ship. Condition(see"condition definitions. Below) is good. This heavy. Solid Antique 1800's Ornate French Table or Boudoir Mirror is in excellent condition. The original mirror is in great condition with no cracks, chips, damage, black or dull spots to the mirror. I have shown several pictures so you can get a good look at the mirror. Any specks on the mirror in the pictures are dust and are not permanent marks on the mirror. The heavy ornate gold stand is also in great condition with no damage. It still has the original green felt backing and original clips holding the mirror in place. The stand is very solid and holds the mirror securely on a dresser, dressing table or desk. It is embossed with the numbers 08576 on the bottom edge of the stand. It is very heavy and solid. This mirror has been stored in a dresser drawer for well over 40 years, until it was recently discovered, and was rarely ... moreused. I was told it was from the 1800's. It is approximately 2 inches tall and 9 inches wide. I am not positive how to describe this mirror. I am not sure if it is considered French Bronze or something else. Antique 19th C Hand Mirror Hard Wood Boudoir Vanity Beveled w losses to mirror
Up for auction is a 19th C hand mirror of hard wood with bevel recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. There are losses throughout the mirrored glass backing. And the top wood seam has a crack from wood drying out and shrinking, common, easy to fill with colored wax. The mirror is approx 5 1/4 x 6 1/2" with the whole mirror 1" larger(1/2" wood frame) with a handle 4 3/4" so overall 11" long by 7.5" wide.
