Victorian walnut dresser has white w/gray marble top; the original beveled mirror is accented with the traditional Eastlake Victorian geometric designs of bulls eyes and carved swags& tassels. The drawer fronts feature raised burled panels and original hardware. Original rollers w/caps not attached. But available. Measures 48.5" x 20.5" x 80" high. It has a three-quarter inch repaired indentation in the back left side of the marble that does not detract from the function or appearance. Items sold are available for in-store pick-up. Antique Arts&Crafts Pine Dresser Harp&Mirror Frame (no glass) good condition
Antique Arts&Crafts Style Pine( with dark finish) Dresser Harp and Mirror Frame(no glass) I believe it originally was on a highboy style dresser which is a tall narrower width wise with 5 or 6 drawers rather than a 3 or 4 drawer lower dresser. The width of this harp and mirror is about 32 1\2 inches wide which would more than likely be too short for a lower type dresser because they are usually high 30's to 40's inches wide. The measurements are the total height to the top of the mirror from the bottom is about 23" and the height of the post(harp sides) would be 20 3\4" The outside measurements of the mirror itself is 22 1\2" wide and 20 1\2" tall and the glass itself would you get to put in the frame is 20 1\2 x 22 1\2 inches. The original mirror hinges are both there and the back wood supports are also there. ... moreJust to let you know this harp and mirror was made to sit on the back edge of the top thus the support strips which screw on to the very back of the dresser itself verses the type that sets in the space on back and actually screws into the top itself. The arts&crafts connection is the way the two harp uprights are cut as was the style in that era(see photos#4 and#6) If you needed to cut down the width of the whole unit the small extensions on the left and right on the very bottom could be changed or cut back according to your needs. This vintage antique maple wood frame mirror sits on a dresser or table and measures 18 1/2 high. 14 wide and approx. 5 1/2 deep at the widest part on the bottom where it stands. The mirror has spots of silvering loss and some hazing. The back of the mirror has wood strips glued along the edges holding the mirror in place. The frame has some scratches and nicks. This unusual horseshoe shaped mirror is intended for dresser or table use. It has two 3/4" brass ball feet and a hinged prop-arm stand to hold it upright. It has a 1 3/4" wide frame. I'm not sure of the wood. But it's tight-grained with the original finish& appears to be possibly cherry or mahogany. This mirror stands 12 1/4" tall and is 10 1/2" in width at its widest point. The frame is approximately 3/4" in thickness. The mirror has a 1" bevelled edge and its area measured to the frame rabbet is 7" W. x 8 1/2"H. The prop is 8" L& 1 1/2 W. The mirror shows some small areas of silver loss and the frame has some minor finish damage at the edges. But over-all, it is in very good antique condition. This is a very nice antique Victorian maple mirror for a dresser or chest of drawers. Typically used on a five drawer tall chest or highboy. It retains it's original beveled glass and measures aprox. 34 1/2" wide x 23" high with just the mirror being 17 1/2" wide x 19 1/4" high. The glass is nice and clean and it retains it's original back. There is a small piece of applied carving missing at the lower left corner, otherwise it is fine. Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. It stands 13 1/2 inches tall. The mirror itself is round and is 8 inches in diameter. The mirror has two sides and can be flipped over to have either side at whatever angle is needed. This is a very sturdy item- it weighs almost 3 pounds. There are no markings on the bottom. So I'm not sure how old or where it was made. The acanthus flourish in the top center is unique as well. The border is all reeded with block corners. The mirror has some small spots. As is expected in an old mirror, but it has very minor spotting compared to what you normally see. There is also a scratch on the lower right side, and some wear/ scratching to the wood frame, as should be expected in an older piece. The back has a strong wire support. Deep Brown and Gold. There is an old brass screw fitting on each side for fitting to a dresser stand. I imagine. A lovely almost 100 years old Art Deco period piece. Condition: The frame is structurally sound… it has shallow scrapes. Scratches and old wall paint marks, signs of usage over the years. Description This sale is for this antique dresser mirror that I purchased at an estate sale a while back.It seems to well made with brass frame and feet and a round beveled mirror with cut edges.Not sure exactly how old the item is.I do not sell alot of these.I believe the could be from the early 1900's-Measures aprox 10" in dia.Overall is in decent condition with no damage.It has some signs of age use etc.The mirror surface does have some scratches.But overall seems to be a decent item.Feel free to email questions.Item sold"as is"Thanks for looking.
