Needs a good cleaning. I tried to take several pictures to show quality and condition. Measures approx. 17 1/2" tall X 17 3/4" across X 5" wide. Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. Vintage Trifold Bathroon, Vanity, Shaving, Beveled Wall Mirror w/ Nickel Frame
A very nice vintage fold beveled glass wall vanity/ bathroom/ shaving mirror. It has a nickel frame and a heavy duty chain for hanging. The bottom of the frame has two hinges which extend out so it can be set up free-standing. Each mirror measures a little over 7 inches by a little over 9 inches. The overall measurements are 22 by 9 inches. Very good condition. The only blemish is in one lower corner there seems to be an inclusion in the back. It doesn't look like a chip and it is smooth to the touch. There is a few expected tiny spots of foxing behind the glass. It is only in s few ares and hard to see. Taking pictures of a mirror is hard so I took photos with and without a flash. The frame is a nice. Antique Late 19th C Folding Travel Shaving? Mirror Bun Feet 2 Ovals Wood Frame
Up for auction is a folding shaving or boudoir double oval mirror set recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is found in good used condition with the following issues to report: some of the screws were replaced around mid-century. One whole section of the original tri-fold is missing(photo 12) making it just a pair connected so no longer stands on its own, some losses to the edges of the mirrors, some cracks to the wood from drying out over the last 100+ years. None the less a gorgeous connected set of oval mirrors measuring overall when opened 9.25 x 14" and 7x9 when closed. Could have been a traveling shaving or boudoir mirror. With 3 it would have stood easily. Lovely bun feet. Art Nouveau Style Dresser or Shaving Mirror with Shamrock Design Ornate Frame with Footed Stand and Swiveled Back Foot. Mirror is very clear. Frame has age patina and slight rust to one front foot. This will probably clean. Back cardboard cover has some soiling and moisture circles from age. Very nice item measuring 16" in length and 10 3/4" wide. Frame is a cast metal that a magnet sticks to. I do not know if it is cast iron, it is heavy metal with bronze coloring. No breaks in metal.
