The mirror itself measures approximately 14 1/2" long and 26 1/4" wide. The frame is made out of mahogany with a deep shapely curve, gorgeous grain, and clean mirror. This mirror has a wood panel back and updated, strong hanging wire. This antique mirror is masculine enough for a den, but beautiful enough to be displayed anywhere in your home. Condition: This mirror is very strong and sturdy as it is held together by square nails. The wood on the bottom border of the frame has knicks in it. As well as the edges of the frame. This is a heavy mirror, so the hanging wire appears to have been replaced ... moreby the previous owner so that it hangs securely on the wall. The wood panels on the back of the frame have been repaired in the past and you can see where it was glued in some areas, but one piece of one wood panel is split and separated from the frame(see photo below. Also, if you look closely, you can see glue below the wood directly around the mirror; this may have been from when it was made though. The mirror is not beveled and the silvering is intact. This offering is for a beautiful and OLD. Victorian/Arts& Crafts large wall or mantel mirror. This gorgeous mirror features a substantial(chunky, if you will) solid wood frame made of turned wood with a center section of French or Barley twist accent. Trimmed similarly to an old window or door, the frame has four large corner blocks with an Arts and Crafts styled floral bouquet/basket appliques. The spool wood is hand fitted into the back wood frame which is also thick and substantial. The frame has been gilded and the color is now a beautiful, aged gold or bronzed color. The mirror is in very good condition for its age(early 1900s) There is some expected wear/aging to the patina of the wood. There are some minor scratches and chips but these are not distracting and actually compliment the character of the piece. There appears to have ... morebeen one minor repair to the frame where it meets the mirror. It appears as a piece was cracked and has been glued to secure it(see picture 11) It is holding quite well with no issues. The back is faced with paper. The old hangers have been removed with a center hanger attached. I think the mirror is too heavy for a single hanger so you may want to add an additional hanger. The mirror is meant to hang horizontally as the corner floral baskets dictate this(otherwise, they will hang side ways) The mirrored glass is in good condition with no chips, cracks or loss of back coating. The mirror is large and measures 41" wide and 21" tall. It extends 2.75" from the wall. The mirror glass is 33.5" x 13.75" The mirror is heavy and weighs approximately 25-30 lbs. Antique Gold Gilded Art Deco Triple-3-Wall Mantel Mirror-1924-Cleveland Glass Co
Very elegant mirror made by Cleveland Window Glass and Door Co. The mirror would have came with that real thin brown fiber paper on the back. These usually get stored in an attic or basement and that stuffs just falls of thru the years. I have got some of the brown packaging paper at wall mart and recovered these. I've learned with antiques. It's best to leave them like you find them. I bought this one and another triple mirror at an estate sale and you could tell both of them had been stored for many years. It is good and solid and well built. You have the normal patina here and there on the frame and on the mirror. There's no major places on the mirror. It's hard to get pics of the small places in the mirror itself but it's nothing out of the ordinary you would find on a mirror this age. In fact, I'd rate it much ... morebetter than most because there are none of the usual large patches or the places you often see around the edges where the backing of the mirror is coming off. If you look at the 2 mirrors on each side of the center one, you'll notice something very unusual for a mirror made at this time. The mirrors have the effect of being 4 small mirrors put together to form a large one but it's not, it's actually a beveled groove cut in the glass shaped like a"V" Very unusual to see this done in the 20's, I didn't know they had the tools to even make such cuts in glass then. I've bought a lot of mirrors and I've never seen one cut like those are. It gives the whole mirror an entirely different look. It's also one of those pieces that hung in any room commands attention when you walk in. It's not too flashy but you can't possibly overlook it either. It measures 41 1/2" long.it's 18" high in the center and 14 1/2" on each side of the ornate center top piece. Let me know if you have any questions. A very fine antique. Circa 1870's, Renaissance Revival over mantel mirror. The fancy gilt compo on wood frame retains the original finish, minor wear spots. The only minor compo losses are on the upper left crest(see last photo. The mirror is very fine without damage, no backing spots or cloudiness. The frame with crest measures 6'8" 80" tall by 5'3" 63" wide by 12" deep, the mirror 4'10" 58" tall by 4'1" 49" wide.

One of the pictures was taken outside and has reflections of the yard with patio furniture and trees in the center while the other one has white cardboard held up and it does not look like a mirror in the center. The center mirror is 24" x 15 3/4" sides are 11 1/2" x 12" This will be shipped in a wood crate and cost is included in shipping. No identifying markings. The reflective backing[probably silver or mercury] has one dark streak on a left panel-1/2" in on the right edge. A few black blemishes around some outsides. Also a wash/shadow look in some areas. The individual mirror section buttons are removable enabling the repair process. There is small frame damage in three places. On the bottom/center is a 3/4" repaired area. This French walnut hall, mantel or foyer mirror from around 1900 has a magnificent hand carved shell motif crest. The original warm brown finish is extremely well preserved on this superior quality furniture from France. Waxed and buffed. All that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The original shaped and beveled mirror is in outstanding condition.
