$31.37 Shipping Location: Tucson, United States A Chinese mirror black vase from Republic period. There is still painting in gilt. Mirror black porcelain started to appear in Kangxi period. They were ... moreproduced in small quantities and rare to find in the market. International collectors were fond of its pure black color and reflecting surface and have been collecting them for some time. Chinese call mirror black porcelain WuJinYou. Meaning black gold glaze. Gold refers to gilt that always is present on this kind of porcelains. Mirror black glaze used in early stage is actually very intense brown. Which can be identified at the edges where the glaze runs thin. Later black glazes are intense gray, blue or even green. Please examine the photos. This particular piece is from Chinese Republic period. If you are experienced in this kind of porcelain. You should be able to tell its age from its body shape, as well as the gilt paintings. I purchased it many years ago, when it was already electrified, and I continued to use it as a lamp, for quite a while. Now the wires are rotten and you can't plug it into power. If you want to still use it as a lamp, you MUST replace the wires, and the hardware and REINSTALL everything. The hight is 8.2" for the porcelain piece only. Loss of gilt. Vase drilled to electrify. Not examined without hardware. Sold as is. I ship worldwide. I will have to dissemble the lamp in order to ship. The shipping rate is based on this assumption. By purchasing this item. I assume that you agree for me to dissemble the lamp and ship the porcelain and all the hardware. If you want me to dispose any components, such as the rotten wire, please let me know as soon as you win. This may give save you some potential trouble in going through the customs and avoid getting caught up by some security scrutinization. International buyers: you are responsible for custom duties. Taxes or fees. Be ware of potential delays in clearing custom

The dimensions of the mirror are as follows: the diameter of the mirror alone is 15 1/2" The diameter of the mirror from left to right and from outer leaf to outer leaf of the frame is 25" and the height of the mirror from eagle head tip to bottom of leaf tip is 32" This mirror would make a lovely addition to any living room or foyer. ANTIQUE FEDERAL PERIOD REVERSE PAINTED MIRROR 1820s PASTORAL CASTLE CHURCH
Fine. Antique Reverse Painted Mirror from the Federal Period(1820s) The subject of the painting seems to be an old Castle/Abby in the background with a couple of men resting and/or talking beneath tree. One of the men looks to be wearing an old-style Tricorn Hat. This is in Untouched Condition having never been restored or repaired and is Very Nice as such. Only a later heavy paper board between the mirror/painting and the beveled wood back has been replaced for protection of the back side of both the mirror and the painting. It looks to be at least 50 years old, minimum. I imagine the first protective piece disentigrated long ago. The Painting is Original as well as the Mirror. The back Beveled Wood cover is also Original. There are some paint chips here and there and the gold has dulled consistent with the age. Any or all of this can be ... moretouched up or completely restored, or just left as is in it's original condition. Please, see the pics as they are an important part of my description. The mirror measures 26 7/8" Tall X 12 3/8" Wide X 1 1/2" Deep. From the estate of a Harvard Business School professor. Don't miss out! Have fun bidding! Large Empire Period Flame Mahogany Veneered Wall Mirror Ca.1840-1850 VGC
Large Empire Period Flame Mahogany Veneered Wall Mirror Ca.1840-1850. This is from a family estate sale. The mirror is 21.25 inches wide and 24.25 long. It needs to be re-silvered there's a few scratches on the back of the glass and there is one small chip in the veneer. Usually this would be a huge deal breaker but it's just a small triangle piece the size of a nickel wide so it can be restored and you would never know or you can leave it as it is. it's not very noticeable, unless you're looking for flaws. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will auction 3 times then list it as buy it now and if it hasn't sold I will accept offers. thanks for looking.

Antique Federal Gilt 2 Panel Mirror We purchased this mirror at auction recently. They tell me it is"Of the Period" And that it is a Federal Mirror that was taken off of a Northwestern Massachusetts Federal Period house's wall. I would say it is, looking at the form, construction, and dark color on the reverse side, a period ... moreFederal mirror, ca.1820-30. Its design matches other mirrors I found in my research. That being said, please make sure you study the pictures to judge this for yourself. Note the medallions on top are leaf-like and the ones on the bottom are sunbursts with faces in the middle. Overall size: 24-1/4" wide x 37-1/4" high x 4" deep overall The gold gilt finish is crackled and has some small chips to it in most places. Aside from that. There is some loss to the gesso molding on the lower left as shown. The mirrors are older, but I think are newer than the frame. They have some minor silvering loss, mostly to the lower mirror, so I would guess perhaps 80-100 years old, give or take. Looking at the back, the old age is obvious, given the very dark color. I can see layers of evidence that this mirror was worked on over the years, including some newer nails used to keep the back boards in place. The oldest nails are very old. The panels are loose in the frame somewhat, in that they want to slide down. I think this is due to a missing bottom board on the frame(obvious in the pictures) I could add a board or simply add fasteners to secure it, but I really think I should le

Louis XV Period Beveled Mirror (circa 1750)
This magnificent Louis XV Mirror is of the period( circa 1750) Extremely rare example with the curved Louis XV legs and very wide bevel. Impossible to find on the market. Dimensions: 6'10" tall X 43" wide Extremely fine condition with one small break top left(picture#6) that can easily be repaired by an experienced craftsman. I recommend seeing it in person. As it is even more impressive and beautiful than the pictures. We used a blue sheet for the pictures that did not reach all the way to the floor. To limit distracting reflection. Local pick-up only. I will be available to accomodate your movers/shipping company at their convenience. If you have questions or wish to make an appointment to view it in Houston TX. Please call Steven at 406-58zero-3607

Rare Antique Horn Mirror, steer?, Victorian period, highly decorative, beveled
This is an amazing Victorian Horn Mirror. 38 inches from point to point. It is beveled. There is a small bit of trim loss on the corners that i have shown. We have had this mirror for 30 years and preferred not to touch it but it would not be difficult. We will list in only once and if it does not sell, will enjoy it for another 30. It should be picked up south of Richmond or you may arrange for shipping. I believe the beautiful wood grain is faux but I cannot tell. It is certainly unusual. Rare for sure.
