Up for your consideration is this antique. Circa 1910-1920 Federal style eagle bulls eye convex mirror. We see this mirror is constructed of wood and gesso/plaster and has some minor plaster/gilt loss. The original mirror glass is intact with some slight surface'blurring" from age and exposure(black marks, oxidation- see photos) This mirror measures approximately 29 inches tall and 21 inches wide with a 17.5 inch diameter. Fancy Antique Art Deco Carved Wood Framed Etched Beveled Wall Mirror 15" x 29"
Here is a vintage or antique hanging wall mirror. This looks like it is from the 1920s or 1930s. It is unmarked but resembles Nurre. It has a mirror with scalloped sides and bottom and an arched top. There are 3 detailed etched flowers with 16 petals on each. The petals are made of lots of etched lines. The leaves and the drops falling from the flowers look like they are raised but are flat to the touch. not sure if this is reversed but it is a gorgeous effect) There are 3 screws that are diamond shaped. The wood frame is ornate with a large flower on the top and 6 smaller ones around the mirror. The rest of the carving is scrolls. The paint is two tone. Gold and silver, but some areas appear pink. There is a hanging wire on the back. I took this off the wall myself and it is heavy and the wire held the mirror steady with just a picture hanger ... moreon the wall. Here is an antique or vintage hanging. Round wall mirror. It has a wood frame. I believe the leaves and scroll work are Gesso style. Not an expert. There are leaves all around the edges of the mirror and the crown has scroll work. It is very pretty and ornate without being gaudy. The leaves and ornamentation has been repainted somewhere along the way in silver. The glass has some waviness in it and some streaking, consistent with age. Still gives a good reflection and great light. Has a hanging rope in the back. Measures 26" in diameter and 29" up and down with the crown.
