This Beautiful Antique Depression Era Mirror is in almost perfect shape for its age and type. It is 51.5 inches wide and is 19 inches tall. It weighs 15 lbs. It has its origonal leaded glass and long wire hanger as they used to hang these from the ceilings. It is one of the nicest one I have ever had for sale and I have not seen one for a long time. It is difficult to photograph mirrors. And I would like to say first off that the milky look of the mirror in the photos is deceiving. The mirror surface looks clear and bright and has no streaking in it at all. There is some spotting, tiny black spots from the backing showing through the mirror) All the spots are very small and did not even show in the photos even though I tried to get them to show. Clear glass crown that came off of an old mirror. The mirror belonged to my great aunt and I think she must have saved this part when the mirror was broken in a moving van. Anyway, it was among her things when she passed. This is a top crown part for a Venetian glass mirror or picture frame. It is clear glass with a lot of pretty cuts and designs and star emblems. The piece measures 7" across at its widest part and about 4 1/2" top to bottom. The screw holes are 5" apart. On each end is a hole with a glass rosette topped screw. This nice art deco mirror is 14 inches tall by 6 inches wide. It has beveled edges and cut designs. It is in good condition. There are no cracks but one small chip at the tip of the big end. There is however some scratches on the surface. See photos. There is also a small piece of silver missing on the edge. See photo. The back is felt lined. Ornate Antique Gold Gilt Cut Glass Wall MIRROR Art Deco 21x39" Hall Entry Fancy
A wonderful art deco wall mirror with ornate detail in both the frame and the etching/cutting in glass. It measures 21" wide and 39" tall overall. Classic urn and garland design with nice cutwork to glass. All original nice thick mirror pieces. Great vintage condition with no breaks to glass or missing pieces. One fine crack in wood on backside at top shown in close up that you can not see unless mirror is down and you are looking for it. It is also sturdy and someone stapled it for reinforcement along the way. A couple small specs in silvering shown in pics also but overall it is in very nice condition.
