A replacement will be required and can be acquired at any glass and mirror shop in almost all towns and cities. They are inexpensive. This is marked B&H, and has a bronze ring to hang it with. Manufactured around 1870. It is almost identical to an easel bronze Bacchus bronze mirror frame I have listed as well. But the easel mirror frame is not marked. Both were acquired from the same estate and they were used as a set, one on a parlour table, the other hanging above it. The two bottom corners of this piece have no feet as does the easel frame, and less flourish on these two corners. It is impossible to tell if this was manufactured this way as part of this set, or if an early owner had it customized this way to hang above the easel frame in my other listing. A very beautiful example of early cast iron and bronze guilding. This piece is 14.25" tall. And 9.5" wide, and heavy. Payment by PayPal only- No eChecks. This is a wonderful unique piece of light artwork. Created by Earl Reiback titled"Through the Looking Glass" and dated March 1976. Earl Reiback(1931-2006) is a famed a kinetic light artist whose work has been featured in Los Angeles and is in the Museum of Modern Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This is a truly amazing piece of artwork and can only be fully appreciated in person. The mirror looks and works great. This Lovely Antique Hand Vanity Beveled Mirror is another Great Estate Find. It is about 9.25" Long and the round portion has a Diameter of about 5 1/8" Most likely it dates back in time to the period of the 1920s to 1930s and features pretty Pansies with soft green leaves. In full blossom. There are 2 photos of the mirror portion. One was taken outdoors and is reflecting Geraniums growing nearby; the other was taken indoors and is reflecting a textured ceiling panel. I'm not sure which gives a better view of the mirror so I posted both here. Unfortunately. There is a large horizontal crack running across the porcelain at about the center. It runs across the area of the Yellow Pansy. On the mirror part in the bevel, right near the metal edge, there is what appears to be a small discolorated area. You can see a fairly good enlarged close-up in last picture. I don't think it is cracked as it cannot be felt to the touch. I think it is some sort of little discoloration behind the mirror glass. All that being said. It still makes a beautiful addition to an Antique or Romantic Period Setting. Please do not

Early 18th century English Courting Mirror or Looking Glass
Early English Queen Anne Courting Mirror c.1715 with reverse painting. Half round molded edge crossbanded walnut veneer frame, original English pine backboard, likely original glass. Original reverse painting of ship in harbor with domed cathedral in background, and while it is clearly an English courting mirror, it could be a painting of a Venetian harbor scene- popular in 18th c. England. Size is 16"x11.5" A great usable size, good for accent and in any decor, as well as being a wonderful collector's piece. 300 year old courting mirrors or looking glasses are very scarce, and can be very costly. This one is in very good condition for its age, and is bargain priced to sell quickly. My friend has had this and several other early items a long time and wants them gone. Your gain!

Early 18th century Italian Looking Glass or Sconce Mirror
Early Italian Baroque 18th Gilt and Carved Mirror with nice reverse painting. Round molded edge crossbanded wooden frame, wooden backboard, older if not original glass. Superfluous sconce arm is long gone, possibly over 100 years ago. If you are like me, it looks better and is more usable in a home setting without the sconce arm anyway. Size is 27"x14" A great usable size, good for accent in any decor, as well as being a wonderful collector's piece. 300 year old mirrors or looking glasses are very scarce, and can be very costly. This one is in very good condition for its age.

Antique Miniature Chippendale Mirror Looking Glass Early 19th c. 10.5" x 5.75"
Antique Chippendale miniature or apprentice mirror or looking glass in beautiful original finish. The mirror was hand made. You can see the saw marks and slight variations in the cuts and flourishes. I'm not sure if the mirror and backing are original, I didn't want to remove the backing given that it would entail removing 10"dome" top brads and wasn't sure I could remove and replace without doing harm. If the glass is replaced then it was done a long time ago. I don't see any evidence of a label leading me to believe that it is early and possible small shop or one of a kind. I purchased the mirror from an estate in Montclair. NJ almost 20 years ago. I found the mirror in a leather top hat box that was very early and tucked deep into an attic corner eaves. I've done a lot of research and have found only a few comparable examples. Including one that sold at Pook& Pook in April of last year.
