Beautiful antique vintage dresser vanity table top standing mirror. Very unique! Painted mirror with wood back that has a very ornate looking design in a clear plastic that looks like glass around the edges. This has a floral design to it. The flowers and frame are held on with pins. The bottom right flower has a pearl pin. The pins and maybe even the pieces o the frame could use a dot of crazy glue on the tips so they cannot come out causing the flowers to come off. This fact does not in any way detract from the beauty of the mirror it is simply a suggestion of mine that seems practical since the flowers can currently come off if pins come out. I believe the base is oak but my husband is away and he usually confirms for me. I know its a hard wood. Not pine. It has a nice brown finish. The Mirror is beveled. Up for auction is an antique freestanding cherry mirror. This unique mirror is in good antique condition. It is made of solid wood I am not sure what kind of wood maybe cherry or walnut. Even the back has a solid piece of wood. There is a repair on the foot but looks like it was not totally broken has been repaired well.The original screws have been replaced. However these could be easily replaced with screws from the same period. This measures approximately 21 inches tall and approximately 14 inches across the base. Unique Antique Vanity Table Top Round Mirror 13" Tall, Nice Patina & Design
Nice antique circular mirror on a base. It's 13" tall. 12 1/2" total width, the mirror is 5 1/2" in diameter and the base is 4" The back is almost as pretty as the front with detailed bars holding the old wood and glass in place. It's in good condition with a small crack in the mirror at the top behind the metal frame, and a scratch on the mirrored surface toward the middle bottom. The mirrored top leans slightly to one side or the other, it may just need tightened but we've just left it in it's original condition. I do not see a maker's mark. Vintage Dressing Table Top Vanity Glass Mirror Murano ITALY 10"
This is a Vintage Italian Venetian Murana Glass Mirror.If you look carefully you will air bubbles in the scrolls. This mirror is made of thick glass. 10" tall x 9" wide. The wood is 1/2" thick. One Rosette is missing. Upper left hand side. I have added faceted glass and flat beads to blend in. See picture#4. It blends in and it looks very nice.It's a free standing mirror or can be hung on the wall. Has a hook on the back. The mirror has scrolls of clear Murano glass with glass beads and 3 large glass textured rosettes. Mounted on 1/2" thick wood with a easel back stand. Glass is clear. This is a beautiful vintage Victorian style cast iron framed mirror with a brass finish. The insert measures 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" The frame measures 11 1/2" tall and 9" wide. The overall condition is very good with 3 small spots( 2 upper and 1 lower) on the mirror and a very small crack in the lower right corner. I almost didn't even see it(See last photo and use the zoom) The iron frame itself is great condition. This could easily be made into a picture frame.
