England. The sole reason for this assumption is because it is identical in the basic design as the one pictured. It is a beautiful dark stained walnut we believe. With just the right coloring to show off its best parts. This really is one of the most beautiful pieces we have offered, and the biggest contributor to the beauty is the patina and the warm stain. It also has beautiful carved scroll work and flowers, similar to some I have seen on Eastlake era pieces. It has beveled glass mirrors with some silvering occurring, but even this, I can see a way to appreciate the way it has come about along the edges. This can be broken down and moved easily as it is actually three separate pieces- a top piece, the main body of the armoire, and the drawers underneath. The hardware is original on the front.
