Vintage STIMPSON Scale Bracket Heavy Cast Iron Meat Hook Wall Mount Antique Rare
The pictures speak for themselves. I admit that I know little about this old STIMSON Wall Mount Scale Bracket. And that's after having it for several years. Moving it& tripping over it a half a dozen times. In my internet research I could only find 1 more like it. It was complete, dated 1928& was called a Meat Hook Scale. I had intentions too make a tool rack for my log furniture tools but that is probably not going to happen. I cannot say the two pieces go together but they were together when I bought them. The total length of the steel pipe is 29 1/2" and the cast iron wall mount is 21" and weights 31 lbs 12 oz. The scale bar? is brass& 28 1/4" long. It weights 7 lbs 9 oz. They weight 40 lbs total.
