I am not including the glass shelf and selling the brackets only as the glass shelf is in poor condition with many chips and film buildup on the flat areas. A replacement shelf can be easily made. I can include the glass for the same sale price but the shipping will need to be updated and will cost quite a bit more if the glass is included. Brackets will hold a shelf 4 7/8" wide. But the brackets are upside down for that purpose, so we believe they are to be used as curtain rings or tie backs. They are very elegant and would add a very nice touch to any classic room. There is a floral design along the bottom of each ring, which includes flowers connected by a ribbon and bow. The measurements are 4" outside diameter, 2-7/8" inside diameter and the brackets are approximately 5-1/2" long. Offered is a pair of antique Victorian gilded brass and blown glass drapery tiebacks/ tie-backs. Dating ca. the 1870’s. Each gilded brass calla lily stem and leaf is fitted with an art glass calla lily blossom. Each flower stem measures approx. 10 inches in total length, the clam broth, or camphor glass blossoms each measure approx. 3 5 inches across and 3.4 inch deep. Condition, overall, is quite good. Each blown glass lily flower has rough spots on the backs of some petals, as shown. The mounting peg on one stem is bent, as shown. The calla lily leaf on the second stem has been re-soldered into place, also as shown. There are minute margin dents with one tiny margin split on the leaves. A magnificent pair of large late 19th century probably French gilt pressed brass and ruby glass curtain hold backs. The trumpet shaped glass flowers are in perfect condition and the ruby color is deep and rich. They have a diameter of 8 cm(3.1" One brass sepal at the back is missing. The gilt foliage is overall in very good condition but with some dark spots. The end of one stem has a pewter repair. The flowers are bent differently so the total length differ a bit. It is flawed abit but what a uniquely different way to store your hang-ups! It is 21" top to bottom and 5" wide closed. And extends as far as a whopping 58" One peg broke off but it is present and one milk glass bead head is missing and not present. It seems that someone has painted an accent color of what I would describe as Federal Blue. A little darker than Williamsburg and not navy blue. Some of the pegs may be abit loose but I will leave the tightening of the thing to the new owner as I am not so inclined.

It has a beautiful and ornate back plate and each of the glass hooks have small bronze flowers as screw heads. It will date from the early 20th century. The hook itself is in great vintage condition with just the loss of gilding giving it that fatigued French look that only time can truly achieve. However. Vtg. Antique Bathroom Glass Shelf Brackets NOT Brasscrafters but as Excellent!
Exceptional quality. Cast solid brass shelf brackets to hold a 5 inch wide glass or milk-glass shelf. Glass shelf not included cuz I lost it in storage(I broke it due to the effects of tripping over it while in less than ideal storage conditions) about 25 years ago. The plate-glass that originally came to me with these brackets was 3/8 inch thick X 24 inch long and the original glass long before that could have been milk-glass.don't know fer sure. Sorry I don't have the glass anymore, but 1/4 plate will also work almost as well as 3/8 inch. I have purchased two new stainless steel allen wrench set screws to gently snug the glass into the bracket arms.best to use a little dot of rubber or some protective material(cork? between the set screw and the glass and DON'T over tighten.
