I am not sure what they were originally used for. But would make fantastic shelf, plant holders, light holders, or any number of repurpose uses. New owner would need to take the pair to a welder. Cast Iron Hooks Set of 2 black cast iron hooks. Great for hanging baskets on the porch, deck, house or barn. They have quite a bit of patina and some slight surface rust in spots. I purchased the set about 20 years ago. They looked exactly the same then. I stored them and never used. The straight back bracket has a hole on both the top and bottom for a mounting screw or nail. Not included. They measure 17" long(back bracket) Hook extends 12" from the bracket on one and 13" on the other. The longer one is bent slightly different. Each one weighs 2 pounds. THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION- This is a pair of antique cast iron swing arm curtain rods. Having an art nouveau designwork. Each rod is complete with it's wall brackets& curtain hooks still attached to the rods. There is some white paint on the back underside area of the wall bracket pieces. We had a very hard time capturing the correct color of the old metal surface, so it will be off in shade from the pictures, as compared to actual. Each rod measures approx. 15 1/2" in length and just under 3" wide, at it's largest points. Each has an impressed mark of"H-57" on each bracket stem piece. Interesting pair of vintage cast iron swing arm curtain rods. Each curtain rod has 6 flying geese or ducks. Each rod is 19 1/2" long with 6 hammered curtain rings and wall brackets. Painted black with gold accents. Very good vintage condition.there is wear to the paint. And a little surface rust, but not bad at all. Just needs a clean and a polish. 1 rod is missing the end cap.
