This is a wonderful pair of antique cast iron Eastlake style shelf brackets! They measure a touch over 7" by 5" They date from around the 1870-80's. They are in as-found contdition and have green and are a little rusty. I have not tried to clean them at all. The condition is very good. They measure about 8 1/4 inches long on the longest side. The shorter side is 6 1/4 inches. These can be mounted wither way depending on the width of the shelf that will rest on it. The width is about 3/4 inches. These are ornate pieces. These were painted gold at some point. There is acceptable wear to the gold paint in a some spots with losses of paint. These can be used as they are or someone may wish to strip or repaint them but they have a good look to them the way they are. There are no breaks or missing pieces. Up for auction is this fabulous antique Victorian/Eastlake cast iron. Ornately detailed, plant hanger hook. This is a heavy solid piece- beautifully made. The metal is completely sound, no cracks, breaks or repairs. It was designed to pivot or swivel, doesn't move much now, could use an oiling- WD? It is decorated with beautiful cut-out designs and embossed Eastlake stylized detailing on all sides. It connects to the large cast iron wall bracket with a rod topped off with an acorn finial. As you can tell from my title description it can be used for many things but was not exactly sure what to call it.I belive the wood is a walnut but i am not positive. all 5 hooks look to be cast iron and are all very solid.The hooks all swivel to the right and left, they are not stationary but do stay in place. Hooks have no cracks, breaks, or hairlines fractures and should hold fast for many more years,i have put considerable pressure on each hook to see how well they hold and they all were able to take a good amount of weight,rack has 4 white porcelain knobs at each corner i assume for decoration. They are ... moreall in great shape aswell. rack has two holes at the top for mounting onto the wall and all 4 wood pieces have 6 carved lines in them for decoration. i really do not see any damage or issues aside from one trivial insignificant chip in the middle on top of rack,it is very very hard to notice and youd really only see it if you were up close and inspecting it so i really wouldnt worry about it. i also dont believe it is in any danger of chipping any more. basicly top to bottom this is one very nice antique rack, it has a lot of character and needs a new home.it will be packed up and shipped like a new born baby. any questions just ask, need more pictures just ask. Antique Cast Iron Shelf Brackets. Matching pair of antique cast iron shelf brackets in the Eastlake style circa early 1900's. This pair is unmarked and measure 15 1/2” by 17 1/2” They are not coated and have a nice oxidation. Should clean up nicely. Weigh nearly 10 pounds. Condition: These brackets are in good condition with no breaks or repairs. The surface has a“weathered” patina and the design is not as crisp as it was when it was new. There is rust on some areas. But it’s not very noticeable as it blends in with the dark brown color of the brackets. Please view all the detail photos carefully to assess the condition for yourself.

Pair of Antique Ornate Victorian Shelf Brackets, Cast iron, 9x7 in, old Eastlake
This is a lovely pair of old Victorian shelf brackets. These antique shelf brackets are made of cast iron. These were cast in an ornate pattern with stylized flowers and repeating geometric shapes. They are each 8 3/4 inches by 6 7/8 inches by 7/8 inch at the corners. Each bracket has 6 mounting holes. At some point the shelf bracket were painted white. Some of the white paint has worn off at the edges. And there is more white paint on one side than on the other. This is a terrific pair that will look great whether you leave them as they are, repaint them, or strip and wax them.

Old Antique Eastlake CAST IRON HANGING OIL LAMP CEILING HOOK Planter Bird Cage
Nice old cast iron hook that was commonly used in days gone by to hang an oil lamp from the ceiling. Can also be used to hang planters or a bird cage or anything that needs a big hook. There is a small bit of what looks like the original gold paint left on the hook. Paint it whatever color you like or leave it with its old antique finish. The screw is about 3-3/4 inches long.
