Here's a pair of wonderful antique cast iron arms- Pat date is Sep 13 1881 Arms measure approx 19" long x 5.5" wide One arm shows more roughness at the end. But is beautiful just the same. I am not sure what they were originally used for. But would make fantastic shelf, plant holders, light holders, or any number of repurpose uses. New owner would need to take the pair to a welder. I am downsizing and cleaning out my barn and these brackets have been sitting on a beam for at least 48 years. They are currently painted with a black paint but may have another color under it. If you check the photos you can see the fine detail even with all the paint on them. The brackets each measure 6 1/2" x 11" and will support a substantial shelf.
