ANTIQUE VINTAGE CAST IRON ART DECO VICTORIAN ADJUSTABLE CURTAIN ROD SIGN HOLDER
This is a beautiful collection old antique curtain rods that can double purpose as sign holders if you like. My 101 year old grandmother just past and these were found in here attic. I am not sure of the age but they appear to be in nice condition with a very nice patina. Each unit comes with 6-7 rings on them. They are 4 brackets and 11 larger rings that you can see in the photos. I am not sure what is original or if everything is there so please look closely at the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I am not an expert but I will help in any way that I can. Pair 18"x16" Antique Cast Iron Art Deco Nouveau Sink Shelf Brackets
This is an exceptionally fine pair of iron or steel sink brackets. The nicest I have seen. They are finely made with art deco or nouveau styling measuring 8"x16" they have mounting holes on one side. One bracket has had the paint removed but the fine detailing has been preserved. The small mounting studs along the edge were removed as well. You can cut the studs off of the other bracket if you desire. No breaks. Cracks or repairs. Thank you!

There have some wear from over the years but are in very good condition for the age. I believe these date to the 20’s or 30’s. They could probably use a better cleaning. I could only find one break on the end piece of one of the floral ones. Some of the paint is off but I believe that is common with the age of them. Please see the picture. I know these are old. But I do not know how old. I do know they are a charming piece of history, and I'd like them to go to a good home. They are intended for curtains. But I've seen similar rods hung as towel racks in bathrooms, magazine racks(one magazine one each) to hang children's artwork, and more. Get creative! Not extended. Each arm measures almost 14 inches. It seems they we're painted from golden to white. So they have a great shabby chic, antiqued look to them. Up here for auction 4 great deco curtain rods with the tie backs. One has an issue. The bracket that holder the curtain back needs to be either welded or peened. One of the curtain rods tip on the end is broken and missing a piece and another tip a small piece is missing. Not as noticeable. Could use some paint on the rods them self a little scratched. Please note the brass rings pictured have already been sold. They are not included in this auction. Two vintage Art Deco curtain rods. The arms are painted steel and the leaf shaped finial is made out of cast aluminum or pot metal. They each measure 17.5" long; usable curtain area on the rods are 13" to 22" when extended. There is overall paint loss from normal use. Wall brackets are included but the rings are not. You do not have to have rings to use these curtain rods. The curtains just need to have a rod pocket.
