Vintage Hand Forged Large Iron Hook. Eyehook, and Slide Ring. The Large hook measures 9" long and hook is 4" across. Hook opening is 2 1/2" Hook and eye were pounded from a solid piece of iron. Slid Ring looks to accomodate 3/4" to 1" cable or rope. This was most likely used in a barn as a hanger and slide for hay bales or something similar. This came out of an old Maine barn- It was rusty but I've cleaned it up some and lightly oiled it to preserve it. This is a very nice vintage large Hand Forged Iron Hook and Ring for your Collection! Hand Forged Blacksmith Gate Latch Door Handle Set Rustic Antique Vintage Look
This is a nice set of gate or door hardware. Includes a handle which measures 7" long. A latch measuring 5" and two staples which are approximately 1" x 2.25" All pieces were hand forged in a blacksmith shop on our farm using antique methods; a coal fire, an anvil and hammers and other hand tools, just as these pieces would have been made a century or more ago. Will add a rustic touch anywhere they are used. The staples are used with the latch- one in the round end to secure it. The other on the other side of door/gate for the hooked end. We recommend pre-drilling holes for these when installing.

2 Antique/Vintage Ornate Cast Iron? Victorian? Hand Rail Brackets Marked 3 1/2
Here is a set of 2 ornate old hand rail brackets. They have the look and feel of cast iron; however. Because I'm not an expert, I cannot guarantee what they're made of. They both have surface rust and will get your hands dirty when you touch them. Both are marked"3 1/2" on the part that holds the rail. This is much clearer on one versus the other. The"3 1/2" is likely a reference to their size as the bases are 3 1/2 inches long. Both have the same ornate design. They have some wear as well as rust. Please see the photos for complete details of their condition. I don't have the parts that secure the rail to the brackets.

Vintage/Antique Large Heavy Duty Brass? Hook - Hand Made?
This large hook appears to be older and made from brass. However. I'm not an expert and cannot guarantee how old it may be, or what metal it's made of. I can say that it has a brass-tone and an older"patina. Everything about this hook makes me think that it's hand made, but I can't guarantee that either. The hook is slightly off-center to the left and the top edge of the base is not exactly symmetrical- one corner is rounded more than the other. This is also true of the lower edge of the top square of the base, and the bottom edge of the base. The tip of the hook is also not quite symmetrical. This is a unique and heavy hook. It weighs a little over 14 ounces. Its total length is about 5 inches long. It sticks out from the wall about 2 1/2 inches, and the hook portion is about 3 3/8 inches long from the bottom of the ... morecurve to the tip of the hook.

This is a very old nail or spice that I acquired in Nacogdoches. The oldest city in Texas. It is a hand forged square nail that tapers at the end to forma chisel shape. The head of the nail appears to have angled sides but it is hard to tell. not a circle for sure. 7 1/2" long. Rusty with a bit of Texas mud or clay. Of course, it may have originated from another area, so there is a chance it is not from Texas.

Pair of Small Antique Hand Tole Painted Swivel Pulleys, 1 5/16" dis, Vintage old
This is a lovely old pair of little pulleys. These antique pulleys have a black japanned finish over steel. On top of the black enameled finish is a pretty hand painted design of red dots with gold vines and leaves. The wheels are 1 5/16 inches in diameter. And the total length of each pulley is 3 1/2 inches. A small amount of the black japanned finish has worn off, and there is light rust where the finish is missing. There are some spots of light rust on the wheels, too. The side is stamped Pat'd for patented. The loops at the top swivel. And the wheels turn easily. These may have been clothes line pulleys, but now would be great for hanging a plant, lantern, or basket of onions.

Ranging in size from 4 to 5 inches. The largest has remnants of old red paint. The middle one matches this one, but has no bolt and looks as though the top tab is missing. The smallest looks to be the oldest, is heavy iron, hand forged, with a solid heft. These can be used to hang items for display or as a display themselves. Nice unique New England old barn pieces.
