Vintage Antique Glass Towel Ring/Curtain Tie Backs Floral Design 4 Pc w/Brackets
For your consideration is this lot of 4 antique glass curtain tie backs or towel rings. They could be used as towel rings. But the brackets are upside down for that purpose, so we believe they are to be used as curtain rings or tie backs. They are very elegant and would add a very nice touch to any classic room. There is a floral design along the bottom of each ring, which includes flowers connected by a ribbon and bow. The measurements are 4" outside diameter, 2-7/8" inside diameter and the brackets are approximately 5-1/2" long. Please see photos as one of the rings does have a small chip by the screw that affixes it to the bracket. The brackets are not perfect, they are used and an older vintage item, so they do show signs of wear. This item is used and although we try to find all condition issues. Where the decorative part attaches to the back plate is loose and comes off if you twist it. If you aren't handy, Gorilla glue is the cure. If you are handy, a well-placed hammering with a screwdriver with the decorative piece supported on a piece of wood should secure it.

This is a pair of opalescent glass curtain tie backs. They measure 4.25" each. They are in excellent condition except that one has a very small chip or imperfection near one screw well on the front. There are also several small dots of old gray paint that could be easily scratched off with the right tool. They each have a crude wood dowel and screw attachment(with some rust- see photo) which could be replaced if desired.

This is an old cast iron hook. It is a single hook that would extend out from the wall about 2 3/4 inches. Almost all of the original black japanned finish has worn off. There are a few areas of surface rust where the finish has worn away. This hook would be good for hanging a baseball cap. A string of garlic, or a dish towel.

For your consideration a Cast Iron sink bracket.13 3/4" between the center mounting tabs. The overall length of the top of the triangular bracket is 18 1/2"The length of the other two sides is 13 1/2" weight of the bracket is 5.4 lbs. There are 12 mounting holes spaced along the bracket. This bracket is in good overall condition with some surface rust. There is also a small hole in the bracket from the sand mold that the bracket was cast in. This hole does not effect the structural integrity of the bracket. And most people don't care about the rust because the bracket is behind the sink where it can't be seen. Economy domestic shipping. 4 Antique or vintage Cast Iron Extending Swing Arm Curtain Rods Hangers Brackets
Up for sale are 4 cast iron swing arm style curtain rods with mounting brackets. They are extendable. I'm not certain of the age. They were in a box along with much more cast iron window hardware. The box came out of a Brownstone building in Boston Ma. All the items are antique or vintage. But I'm not an expert, so please look at the pics and decide for yourself. The rods are mostly black with some brassy tones showing through. The overall length of the rods are approximately 15.75" when collapsed. 23" overall when expanded. The rod part is 12" when closed and up to 19" or so inches when extended. These rods are a bit tough to extend or contract. But they still work. I lightly sprayed the mating parts with wd40 to get them moving, so there may be a slight residue to wipe off, but I did a pretty good job of freeing ... morethem up and wiping off extra wd40.
