vintage cast iron green painted antique 8" coat tack hook, architectural salvage
This is a large 8" x 5" old green painted cast iron coat. Barn, tack or cabin hook. The longest arm would extend from a wall 8" and the hook is 5" tall. The base is 3 3/4" long and 1 3/4" wide with four bore holes. It came from an old Wisconsin fishing/hunting camp that was reconstructed. It has ball ends that are 3/4" in diameter. A very nice piece of yesteryear. The green paint is old and somewhat chipped and there is some minor surface rust. It is in good vintage/antique condition. Lot of 2 Antique CAST IRON Architectural Brackets-Corners w ACORNS & OAK LEAVES
2 antique Cast Iron corner brackets-braces decorated with Acorns and Oak Leaves. They are the same pattern and design. But one has slightly different mounting holes. The red-rusty one is also has a broken leaf. But its not readily noticible(look at the pics-its hard to notice) Each one is 13" long on each flat bracket side. One is almost completely red with rust. That one is the damaged one and the other has more of a natural greenish patina color to it. Neither of these appear to have been painted. These are solid cast iron and very heavy. You get exactly what is shown in the photos. New owner will be responsible for cleaning. Painting, repairing as desired. Still quite useful as brackets.
