Antique General Store Cast iron Decorative Wall Receipt Hook Holder Bracket
this is the type of wall bracket that was used in probably a general store. it hung on the wall and had a long hook for placing receipt tickets for the day on it. it is 5 3/4 in. long and 3 3/4 in. wide. needs sanding and repainting.

These 2 cast iron brackets where used in the early 1900's in a General Store hardware department to display tools. Shovels etc. but since I have 2 they would also make a very good coat room shelving by attaching 1/2" round dowels in the eight scalloped tops. The wall brackets measures 10 1/4" long and are 2 1/2" wide and the scalloped tops extends out to 11"

Antique Architectural Victorian Cast Brass/Bronze Lady Tie Towel Rack Holder
At auction is a very beautiful architectural metal hanging rack- I believe it was made to be a tie rack/towel holder. The overall dimensions are 7 3/4" high by 8" wide. The hanging bar is 7 1/8" wide. The beautiful lady reminds me of the old Gibson Girls from that time period. I'm not sure what the metal is- it's heavier so I'm thinking maybe bronze or brass. There are some scratches and marks on the metal which are consistent with age/usage but I would say it's in very good vintage condition. The lady is exquisite- she has a bow on one shoulder and I think a bow in her hair. This architectural towel rack has a very old repair as shown in the last photo. But it is barely noticeable. This is a great iron piece just picked up today. Its a corner shelf made out of iron. I have never seen one before. It has different sizes of hearts throughout the piece. It measures 9 1/2 on the outside corners and when I measured from one end to the other across it was 13 1/4. It has JM on the back with the numbers 208& 209.
