Two very nice early reproduction twisted S-hooks for hanging items in on on a fireplace lintle beam. The hooks do have some age but are not period ones. Hooks are 5 1/2" and 6 1/2" long. These are two pairs of older. Iron shelf brackets that have arms that are 3 1/2" long. The ornate bracket has two mounting holes and there are two mounting holes on the shelf rests. Antique, Swing Arm Curtain Rods, With Brackets
I have for sale a beautiful set of Victorian. Swing Arm Curtain rods, antique as far as I can tell) complete with brackets. I've included a photo of a an example of some rods(examples, not necessarily these rods) in use in my Victorian home where they used to hang. They can swing out to facilitate opening windows, cleaning windows, or letting in more light. I found them beautiful as well as functional. I have several sets for sale now as I have relocated. The rods are complete with the necessary brackets. These are lighter weight then the others I have and I m not sure what they are made from. They do have a little rust, and you may want to paint them. I had them in a shabby chic room and preferred them unpainted. They fit on either side of a window and swing open or shut. They extend from 16 3/4" to 23" on either side. They ... morestick out 4" from the wall. In theory. They should cover a window 46" wide; however, as you extend them, they become weaker and tend to sag(I am being honest here because I found this out the hard way) I had them installed one set to each single, double hung window. I slid the curtains on to the rods. Some people use rings to attach to rods and you can purchase rings to fit if you like that look. Brackets included. The brackets are hard to find and essential. I will try to get the other sets posted today or feel free to contact me to see other sets. These rods are hard to find this complete and very expensive in antique shops when you can find them. The cup screws tightly on to the arm and there are two screws on the sides of the cup to hold the lamp or planter. This unusual piece of art is 11.5 inches long and the cup has a beautiful flower design. This item has been used for many years and has not been polished or cleaned and is in as found condition. A nice pair of heavy duty iron brackets. Each one weighs about 3.5 pounds. The wall side is about 11.25 inches long and 1 3/8 inch wide. The other leg is about 10.5 inches and 3/4 inch wide. These are old timers and do have some surface rust but that would buff off if the new owner so desires. There are no cracks. Breaks, nor anything else structurally wrong with these brackets. LOVLEY 3 PEG VINTAGE FRENCH WOODEN COAT& HAT RACK HOOKS FAUX BAMBOO This is a delightful wooden vintage French'portmanteau' 3 peg hat and coat rack. It's in super condition for its age and really is lovely. It has been polished which gives a lovely deep honey golden sheen and if required would polish and clean further. The turned wooden hooks which almost look like bonnets or mushrooms each have two bands of a deep brown to add extra detailing which in parts have faded slightly due to the passage of time and use. These of course have all been turned by hand. The back plate made to look like bamboo is again in great condition for its age. There appears to be a slight split in the wood, this doesn't go through and runs along the grain of the wood, this is of course reflected in the price and doesn't effect the use of ... moreit in anyway, it is on the underside and difficult to spot when hanging or even photographed. The hanging rack is a deep honey brown. The two original hanging brackets are still in place. A delightful vintage piece. Still good and strong and in great condition, I've got one in the bathroom but it would look great in the kitchen or hallway for where it was first intended. Antique Edwardian brass folding concertina coat rack 9 hooks
Edwardian brass expanding concertina coat rack. With 9 hooks, the struts are actually brass folded aver a steel backing, which adds considerably to its strength full of heavy coats. It is in good order strong solid and doesn't have any damage, I have left it in as found condition tarnished and not polished, it would polish up nicely but some might prefer it left. It extends comfortably to 24inches it can go further but looks best a about 2 foot, fully closed it is 13 inches tall including the hangers, this of course reduces the further it is opened. You see a lot of these made in wood with wooden pegs, this is quite rare made in brass with hooks.

Three charming vintage French coat and hat hooks. Made from gently curved iron bar they are topped with"rustiquely" shining knobs. The bottom hooks being the classic demi lune. Each hook is riveted to a bracket with four holes to screw to the wall. Previously thickly painted. The paint has been removed in the wood fire. The metal now shows its delightfully aged, slightly rusted patina which I have lightly polished with beeswax to protect and give a gentle sheen. The knobs( which were removed before plunging hooks into the fire! are. or were. chromed brass. Over many years the chrome has worn away leaving a lovely antique mottled effect of brass and chrome. which would be impossible to replicate. In good strong condition. victorian CHANDELIER HOOK ceiling bracket ROSETTE cast iron ORNATE antique PLATE
Today I will be listing 2 very unique victorian era hooks. Both will have BIN's and if you win both you can save BIG on combined shipping! So up first is this antique victorian era cast iron chandelier/ceiling hook with matching rosette/bracket/plate. The entire hook measures about 5 3/8" long and the hook section itself is about 2 9/16" long. The rosette/plate is about 2 7/16" in diameter at the diagnol. Both parts are in excellent shape with some typical light wear and oxidation. As pictured. I see no damage so this hook is ready to mount. There is a sligth bend in the screw section that you can sort of see in the last picture but this will have no functional or structural effect. Also, that is NOT rust you see around the center hole in the rosette. It is just reflection of light from a shiny finish. Buyer pays shipping ... morefee of $4.95. Paypal accepted.
