Lot includes 6 antique Victorian era molding hooks for hanging pictures. The two in front match and are brass and have an image of a crown- the measure approximately 2" long. The four others match and are made of steel and a couple of them still have some of their original brass plate- the measure about 1 5/8" long.

2 Pair Antique Drapery Curtain Rod Ends Large 4 1/2" Victorian Silvered Brass
Here are 2 pair of Victorian drapery rod ends in an unusual large size. They measure 4 1/2" long. Not including the ends of the mounting screw. They are designed to screw onto a 1 1/2" diameter wooden rod. Recently out of a local small town Nebraska estate. They are guaranteed to be old and authentic. Made of a pleated silvered brass mesh with brass collars and finial. In good. Undented condition with some age related wear and tarnish. Very nice.

Most cast iron hardware of this era was coated in a tough black oil paint. These retain most of that black paint.As well as very old white(creme,now) oil based paint. These were maore than likely in a closet that got painted that white only once in it's lifetime,as wear is very light on these. They project 1-5/8" out from the wall.Single screw mounting,with a nib on the back of the packplate that keeps them from spinning. Simple,elegant design. I have other lots listed.
