Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade
Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade
This is a Lovely Vintage Art Deco Glass Ceiling Light Shade. The information I was given was that these shades came from the same house and that the house was built in 1921. This is one of two auctions for vintage Art Deco shades that were purchased together. The information I was given was that the other shades came from a house that was built in 1921. I was not able to find out if this shade is from the same house or not. But it looks to me like it is probably from around the same era. I do not know the age for sure. The shade has three graduated dimensions separated by clear rings with a beaded pattern. I would describe the color as a very pale pink. The photos are close ... moreto. But not exactly the actual color. The pink portions of the glass are decorated as seen. The shade is in excellent condition the exception of a little bit of darker pink color adjacent to the holes from which the shade will be hung. I don't know much about how the shade was made but it looks to me like the three holes for the chains that will hang the shade were cut. And the edges of the holes on the inside are a bit rough. The shades are 10 3/8" in diameter. The maximum vertical depth from the top edge to the bottom center of the shade is about 4" This old Art Deco ceiling fixture would be a beautiful focal point in any room in which it is hung. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Porcelain socket and wire(all U.L. listed but the fixture is not U.L. approved) There is a small tarnish mark in the brass neck and other minor imperfections in the brass finish. Antique glass ceiling light fixture shade. It is the 3 hole mounting type and it is in good condition with no chips or cracks that I could see. It is 10" across and 4" deep. It is a nuetral color of beige and would compliment any decor. The rim edges are curtain like and it has a daisey pattern in the glass. The center is raised and looks like a web. Salvaged from a turn of the century home that was scheduled for demolition in the 1980s– Believe this wonderful ceiling lamp light shade should date to the 1930’s/ 1940’s– This is my best guesstimate as to age– Could possibly be older– Assume collectors will know for certain– See additional shade salvaged from same house– also currently up for auction) Appears to be a mixture of Art Deco with Antique eapg elements- Glass with pendant 3 chain chandelier art deco ceiling light/ lamp shade fixture Duo color– the edges of this shade are a clear glass and the pattern is very similar to the antique eapg pattern called Beaded Medallion– The center of the shade is a cased or fired on? light peach color with petal swirls surrounding a round circular center looking similar to the Beaded Medallion pattern. Hi up for sale is this amazing vintage ceiling light fixture shade. It is approx. 16" across. The hole is 13 3/4" across. It is approx. 6 1/2" tall. the outside is frosted, has a pansy flower in the middle the rest of it is an organic veined texture. All around the sides are pansies. It is in good shape, no breaks or chips. There is a tad bit of slight scuffing by the center flower. A fantastic shade! Antique or vintage 3 hole type glass ceiling light fixture shade and it is a golden glazed color. The shade is 9 1/2" across and 6" deep. It is an unusual shape and it is white on the inside. 1920’s Antique Art Deco 5 Slip Shade Ceiling Light Fixture Chandelier Lamp Vintage Cast This auction is for a 1920’s antique art deco light fixture. It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. The glass is in nice shape… no chips or cracks– there are rough edges and a little of the frost has wore in areas not seen upon display(except one tiny spot) We believe this is a Merkel fixture and it is numbered(starting with an“8” though we are uncertain of some digits(with a“T” above the numbers) The fixture has been rewired with new sockets… though the original ... moreceramic bases were saved.
