In this auction we have a vintage cast iron porch light fixture. Good condition. But as you can see in the pictures there is no paint left on the fixture. there is no damage to this item, but will need to be cleaned before painting. The light is 9 inches tall, and 4 1/2 inches wide. The fixture will sit approx. 6 inches out from the wall when mounted. There is very nice detail in the casting. It dates from the early 1900's around 1920. It is a cast iron fixture which has the original paint in good condition. This fixture is a hard to find fixture and this particular on is free from rust which is very hard to find. Please take a close look at the pictures to see the amazing detail. It comes with the original finial. This lamp has the original 4 brass fat boy sockets as well. They are all General Electric Company sockets. This lamp has been rewired and is tested working. Please note it does not come with the chain this was only used for the pictures. Antique Ornate Cast Iron Hanging Chandelier Victorian Art Deco (5) Light
Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. Exact age unknown. We are told the more inclusions of bubbles in the glass the older the piece. This globe is loaded. Really a unique wonderful piece of glass. Hand painted but we think this was done in more recent times. We see the artisan had a few spots of paint outside the lines on the glass. Presented"as found" We see that this is slightly dirty and could use a careful cleaning. No chips or cracks but we do see some fleabites ... moreon the fitter flange. As the glass sits in the base this fixture measures approx. 8 1/2" tall. 4" fitter. The widest part of the glass measures approx. 7 1/4" diameter. The cast iron base measures approx. 6 3/4" diameter x 1 3/4" tall. It has some casting numbers. The glass attaches to the base with three set screws. This listing is for an authentic vintage antique light fixture. This is a large ornate chandelier style fixture. With five lights. Frame is heavy strap steel, ornamental panels are made of cast iron, as are bottom and top fittings. Floral bolt embellishments are pressed steel, ceiling cap and light sockets are brass. It measures 22" in length, excluding ceiling cap and top tubing. It measure 17" in diameter. It is a used fixture, and is in as found condition. It will need to be re-wired for use. It is missing one of the light bulb sockets, swing pendant on bottom, and set screw on ceiling cap. There are two splits in bottom ring of ceiling cap, but it is still very useable. The small flowers at bolts show paint loss. Cast iron parts, and ceiling cap retain good old paint. Fixture is otherwise in good used condition, and should restore ... moreeasily. There are no bends, breaks, pitting, batters, or repair. This fixture is close to the usps size limits. And may ship with some dismantling. This antique Slipper Shade light fixture made of bronze. Cast iron and brass is in good condition. It is missing one of the light sockets. Im not sure if it works. It is a 3 light fixture. It measures 5 inches across at the bottom and is 12 inches long from the top to the bottom where the switch is. Offered here is a lovely decorative cast aluminum polychrome chandelier with crystal accents. This piece has been fully rewired. Cleaned and restored. As with all of our antique and vintage lighting, this piece is ready to install in your home. Notice the green and red highlighted details on the ornate portions of the light. This kind of work is called polychrome. And is very common for piece produced in the 1930's for the American lighting market. A piece like this was frequently ordered for a few dollars from a catalog. Most of this frame is made of cast aluminum and brass. The socket interiors are new. Though we retained the exterior of the sockets to match. The five crystal prisms are cut in an'almond' pattern. And are made of fire polished Italian crystal. Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. The back plaque has a Victorian design and it holds 2 candles. The candle holder has two pieces and is painted gold. I am not sure of the maker or the age. It is stamped with the number 67 on the back. Measures 6-1/2" tall and 5-1/2" wide. Good used condition with no cracks or chips in the metal. There is some paint lose. Vintage Gothic Revival Arts & Crafts Slag Glass Cast Iron Porch Light Fixture
International bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding for a shipping estimate! Up for sale is a Vintage Cast Iron Slag Glass Gothic Arts& Crafts Mission Porch Light Fixture. This fixture has a great revival look. features removable slag glass panels. They were originally installed via 2 L-brackets. So that they could slide in. Now, the bottom brackets are still there, but the top brackets have eroded away, or they were possibly cut out so that the glass could be removed. This is all the original glass that came with the fixture. The only way I could figure out how to properly hold the glass in, was to use velcro on the top side. Believe it or not, it works pretty well! I took a photo showing the little velcro tabs. Obviously you could remove those tabs if you wanted to use a different method. The glass panels will be removing during ... moreshipping. Otherwise. The glass is free of any chips or cracks. The fixture is very old and vintage, and has a few areas that are weathered& have small splits(near the bottom finial part) The paint isn't in the best condition but has the weathered appeal. The base is cast iron; the other part of the fixture(the fram part where the glass goes) is not cast iron, it's some sort of painted metal. The entire fixture is heavy and solid, weighing in at about 5 ounds. The fixture has a new porcelain socket& brand new wiring. It's in excellent workding condition! The entire fixture measures 12" long by approximately 6" wide. The glass has a green swirl design but when lit. It almost looks yellow. You could keep this beautiful glass or replace it with clear panels. There is no mounting hardware or bulb included in the auction. This would look great on the porch of an arts& crafts bungalow.
