Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. Antique Crystal Chandelier Ceiling Light Ornate Vintage European Brass
Beautiful ornate all crystal chandelier. These are real crystals not plastic. It takes 8 lights. I will not include the light bulbs. It is 24" without the ball. With the it is 27" long. It is 18" diameter. I bought this house with this chandelier. I do not know if there is any damage to any crystals but it does not appear to be. Beautiful but too large for this foyer. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. It retains its mounting finial(matched by another finial on the bottom of the pan body) original shades, and chain. Note. Too, how the leaf& berry detail ... moreon the shades is matched by the same detail on the socket cups and canopy. Nice. The main pan body is a deliciously narrow oval with two dramatically cantilevered arms. I love it! The brass has been gently polished but not so much as to remove the patina. The wiring is. As mentioned, new, and cloth covered. Imagine the fixture with plastic wiring! Horrors! This fixture is ideal for a bedroom. Hall, or foyer, and would have been seen in most any style home built prior to, say, 1925. Wholly restored. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The brass has been polished but not so much as to remove the patina. It has not been lacquered. Each socket has an on/off paddle switch. The fixture can of course be controlled by a wall switch. COLOR: Brass with patina. White shades. SIZE: The fixture is now 33-1/2-inches long. And almost 16-inches wide(shade to shade) I can add or remove chain. CONDITION: The only issue is minor. The upper finial has a small dent. The shades have no chips or cracks. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. Reclaimed Antique Brass Ceiling Fixture w/ 3 Figural Asian Men Needs Restoration
This is a fantastic estate find. I pulled this out of South Philadelphia. It was removed from a house over 100 years old. It was painted at one point and I know it is brass. But I think this would have had a greenish paint on it originally. The main part hangs on three chains to the center medallion and features what looks like three shouting Chinese men. Someone made a patch repair to one of the sockets, but I would rewire the entire thing. The paint would need to be stripped, but at that point, you could see how the brass polishes and repaint the antique green if you'd like. I have had this completely apart looking for a manufacturer and it is not labeled. We are buyers. Sellers and traders. We work in the Bucks County Pennsylvania area. c.1930 Tole Porch Ceiling Light - Brass and Iron with Original Green Paint
Early 20th C porch ceiling light with acanthus leaf decoration. The body and hook are brass while the arms and leaves appear to be iron. The green paint has been"antiqued" by time with modest amounts of paint off as shown. It could be repainted. But most people will prefer to leave this weathered look. Unknown if glass shade is original, but it probably is. Original cap present and 16" of original chain. 9" T and 10" W. Hello. This is a beautiful old light fixture prob. from the 20's or 30's. It actually looks as if it may have never been instaled. The little springie contact point in the bottom of the sockets(see pics) looks to haver never been pushed down, and I am talking about all 4. Of course the wireing is decayed and needs redone. The set screws are intact and thread in and out freely. It has four mounting holes; two are approximately 2.75 inches apart and two are approximately 3.5 inches apart. This fixture will accomodate shade base sizes of approximately 3.5 inches to 4.0 inches. Some tarnish is present but it could easily be cleaned and restored. It was still being used, the campus came thru and removed all the bulbs from all the fixtures. The wiring looks and feels very good for a 86 yr old fixture, it will be buyers responsibility to determine safety of wiring. Fixture's base measures 11-1/4" in diameter and stands 7-1/4" tall to top of lamp sockets. Each lamp socket has a push base switch 2 of them switch good a 2 don't switch so good. Base of fixture is made of thin metal with socket stucture made of thick material which is brass.

This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. It has an overall height of 36-3/4” from top of canopy to the bottom tip of the finial) The widest point of the ... morefixture is approximately 22” measuring to the edges of shades. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. They are marked"Edison Patents 250V 50 C.P" The paddle key switches are marked“Bryant” The 2-1/4" shade fitters are marked"PAT. The cross hatched cut glass design and the delicate beaded ruffle enhance the overall beauty of this light. Shades measure 4-3/4" high. Have a 5-1/2" diameter at the ruffled bell opening and are 2-1/4" at the fitter. Canopy has a 5” diameter at the ceiling and is 3” high. The canopy has a couple of small bumps and dings. In addition. Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed.
