Antique Art Deco Ceiling 5 Light Chandelier Polychrome Paint Fleur-De-Lis
Antique Art Deco Cast Aluminum 5-Socket Ceiling Light Fixture/Chandelier. Fleur-De-Lis Design, Original Polychrome Paint The ceiling light retains the original wiring in very good condition. I used the light in my home and recently decided to go with a little more formal Art Deco crystal chandelier. Hence. The offering of this wonderful ceiling light. The ceiling light is in working condition. You'll notice a small ring directly in the center on the bottom. The ring shows some light wear most likely from some type of ornament or prism. that was hung. The 5 matching fat boy sockets with paddle switches are original. The chain is original but was shortened to a drop of 21 inches(top of ceiling cap to bottom of bobeches) Inserted bulbs will add to the overall drop. The ceiling light was meticulously cleaned and professionally sprayed with ... moresemi-gloss top coat lacquer to preserve and enhance the original paint. Close inspection of the ceiling light will find only small and minimal areas of paint loss and/or wear. The wiring is original in good condition. The wiring doesn't appear to be brittle. There are no insulation breaks or fraying of the outer covering. Heat shrink tubing as been applied to the lead ends but will be obscured by the ceiling cap. Notice how the wire covering picks of the colors of the paint scheme. Because of the original wiring I cannot underwrite or indemnify the use of the ceiling light. You may want to replace the wiring. Each socket has a switch. There is a little play in one of the switches but will stay positioned. Many similar light fixtures used a cast iron hanger under the ceiling cap. When these lights were used originally there were no electrical boxes in the ceilings; only a hole for the wire. The cast iron hanger was attached to lath above the plaster. This ceiling light has outfitted with a pipe nipple and crossbar for easy and updated installation. As noted previously. The drop is 21 inches. Item is 15" wide& that center piece measures 6" top to bottom. Hopefully this helps with specs. Pic one is the side you will see looking up at the ceiling. Pic two is the underside that faces the ceiling. So is pick 3. Item will neeed some re-assembly specifically the part I can not figure out how to screw back into the base I am holding up in pic 2. It will also need re-wiring. At the end of the chain link there is another piece that would screw into something. I'm guessing your ceiling mount. This auction is for an antique 1920's art deco ceiling light chandelier that is fully functional and ready for installation and use. It consists of 2 parts of thick frosted glass. The upper is clear and the lower shade is light green with a beautiful art deco pattern. The lower part has glass tabs that insert into the slots of the upper part and rests on little ledges when turned 1/4 turn, as designed. The escutcheon plate and bulb holder are made of brass and the total height is approx. 17" This classy and opulent vestibule light appears just lightly used and in very good condition. There is a chip in one of the ledges of the clear round part and the square green part rests securely on the other 3 ledges with no problems and it is guaranteed to be a solid connection as it is and this minor detail cannot be seen when in use. It has a gorgeous cream colored column AND ceiling cap made of porcelain that is beautifully painted with floral motif and accented with gold.This was made by the famous Porcelier Company and it's rare to find the chandelier body and ceiling cap together. Available here is an antique art deco light fixture. It has a beautiful skyscraper style milk glass shade. The shade is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It has a 6" fitter. The shade only stands approximately 11.5" tall and is approximately 12" across at its widest. The fixture looks to be brass and has been partially painted over. I am not sure of the best way to remove the paint and will let the new owner decide what to do. It has the original socket and cloth wrapped wiring. I have not tested it and would recommend rewiring it for safety. Rewiring this would be pretty simple since it is a single socket. When hung. Very Hard to find and and lovingly restored to a brilliant blend of golds. Greens, red, copper, bronze and oil rubbed to enhance detail. Fixtures from this period were made with care and great thought. Everything about them was made to last. Th is is a five light chandelier with five arms that hold chains that lead to a small bonnet and that is where the canopy me ets. The arms hold a cons olidated glass slip on smoke bell over each socket. The glass is in great condition with some minor not noticeable age chips around the edges. For the age they are exceptional. The flash from the camera bri ngs the colors out brighter. Actually the gold is brilliant against the bronze and brass, but not so bright as in picture 4 and 2. This auction is for an Antique Art Deco 1920's Floral Ceiling Chandelier 5 Light Fixture in its Original Paint- it appears to be complete. It measures approximately 15 1/2" wide by approximately 21 1/2" tall including the chain and the ceiling cap. It has some corrosion on the metal and it needs rewired- there are no broken or repaired pieces. it would clean up better with a professional cleaning- I just cleaned off the surface dirt and left it how it came out of the estate.

The whole is all original, including the chain and ceiling canopy. Of course all the sockets and wiring are new, and the exposed vertical wire is cloth-covered like the original. The original off-white cardboard candle covers have also been replaced with new off-white cardboard. The chandelier is an impressive 22-inches wide. The ceiling canopy was brighter originally but the plating wore off over time. After the images were taken I sent the canopy out to be nickel-plated. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. Antique Brass & Cast Iron Art Deco Chandelier 5 Sockets Hanging Cluster Light
Here we have an Art Deco hanging chandelier that holds 5 bulbs. This is an antique lamp that is brass and cast iron. The soceket cups and the shaft of the fixture are brass and the center star and circle are cast iron. The chain on this chandelier is a more recent vintage chain but could be easily replaced with one that would go better with the age of this lamp. As you can see it is in good condition but there is some wear to this lamp the worst of it shown in the last photo. This chandelier is about 15 inches in diameter and has a turn switch in the center that can turn the lights on and off. I would recomend re-wireing this before installation. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The light measures approx 10 inches(250mm) tall by 5 inches(125mm) in diameter. It is modeled as an inverted flame. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a beautiful decorative piece. Very rare to find a large 14 inch shade. It is frosted with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. Must see up close to appreciate the true beauty. This light is going to receive many compliment have many admirers. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem are matching. The shade measures about 14 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The glass body is awesome. The ceiling canopy is original and has its aluminum appearance. The socket housing is vintage and correct for this light. There are three new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs along with all new wiring.
