It is a 3 light hanging fixture and has been completely restored. This electric chandelier would have been made in the early 1900's and designed to go with gas light decor. It has the original G.E. Co. brass fat boy paddle sockets. This lamp has been restored. Polished, rewired, and is tested working. It comes with 3 etched glass lamp shades. Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. Cast aluminum Art Deco Chandelier probably manufactured by Lincoln. Illumination is produced by 5 exposed bare bulbs in ceramic sockets and one socket centrally located behind the etched glass panels with mirrored accents. The fixture is 17" wide and 32" long. All sockets have been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. One wire is solid white and the second wire is white with a gold tracer. All gold accents on the aluminum body have been repainted by hand. Bulbs not included and were used for display purposes only. I believe the chain and canopy are reproduction. This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. This very cool chandelier hung in a home near Cincinnati, but now it is here– selling on eBay. People’s lives change, sometimes beginning accidentally or ending unexpectedly. It is approximately 17” to 18” diameter. Being a five-shade fixture, one can measure it two or three different ways. It currently set up with a total drop of 16” when measured from the upper bell where the five chains meet, down to the bottom of the drop-in shade. Total drop from the ceiling is 27” but that is a meaningless measurement since links can be added or replaced at will. Even if you have a 24 foot ceiling in you breakfast ... morenook, all it takes is a trip to your local hardware store for chain and wire, and you can make it hang three feet above your table. The frame was painted brassy gold some years ago. And they did a great job. I’d say the fixture is spelter or some sort of strong metal other than brass or iron. That picture makes me wish I’d at least dusted it a little. See what I mean about the nice quality of the painted finish? The original wiring remains to the hub. But the wire from there up is of more recent vintage. It works. I’ve seen it all lit up. Notice a fragment of the maker’s label on top of the hub? I’ll bet I could find the name of the maker using that fragment. But I’m already so far behind there is little hope of every catching up. My yellow arrow points to a chip so shallow I can’t get a photo of it. It’s hidden anyway. There are also a few surface dings around the outer edges of the drop-in bottom shade. There again. Vintage Glass Chandelier 24" with glass shades
This vintage chandelier is 24" in diameter. 28" in height and is ready to hang. The hardware is chrome. This is for mounting in a standard ceiling junction box. It is from my house which was built in 1965 so I assume it is approximately that old. It is about 25-35 pounds. It is a vintage item and so it does show some wear. But there are no blemishes that I can see. It has five lights, all of its grape etched blown shades are included and it is ready to hang- It is fully functional(I just removed it from my dining room a few weeks ago) I believe that the"crystals" are cut glass but I don't know for sure. The arms appear to be plastic with the white fabric cords inside.

RARE ANTIQUE SPANISH MISSION COLONIAL IRON CHANDELIER BLOWN GLASS FLAME SHADES
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! We are pleased to offer this rare. Antique to older vintage Spanish Mission chandelier. This stunning fixture features hammered and scrolled wrought iron which is paired with hand blown, crackled amber glass. The chandelier is 5 arm and 6 light as there is a bottom, down light in the center of the fixture. The blown glass is featured on each shade/globe as well as in the center of the chandelier frame. The rare globes/shades are glass blown into each wrought iron cage. The globes are flame shaped with a swirled iron cage and pointed tops. Because each is hand blown, the shades are not identical and each is slightly different from the others which gives the chandelier tremendous interest. They have iron bases and simply slip into the bobeches. The blown glass in the center of the frame is a bell shaped piece with curved ... moreends. The iron frame is gorgeous. Ornately scrolled wrought iron accents alternate with each of the arms. These sections extend below the arm level for a nice, dimensional affect. The scrolled sections are flattened and hammered while the arms are hammered but tubular. The chandelier has a scalloped iron canopy and hammered/scalloped bobeches. We purchased(and removed) the chandelier from an estate which was built in 1922. The fixture was added in the 1930s. The glass is the"sharp to the touch" very textured style of blown glass. The chandelier has"vintage" wiring(has been rewired in the 1960s) and. While the chandelier is working, was actually being used up to the time that we removed) we always recommend that the wiring be inspected. Each of the sockets(6) on the fixture require regular(not small candelabra) bulbs. The chandelier measures 23.5" in diameter. It is 13" tall WITHOUT the shades attached and is 15" with the shades in place. There is a 24" section of iron hanging chain included with the fixture as well as the canopy.
