Same pattern but the canopies on this pair are slightly different in size. The pair on the right is for Martha. They have smaller E-25 shades. The shades on this pair as pictured are XE-40 which match the double sconces. If you prefer the smaller E-25 Holophanes on your pair then I will ship that model instead. They are all brass from around 1912 plus. Please see the other listings if you need more sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are period Holophanes. Some of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the ones by my fingers in the pictures. These wall lamps have been washed. Paint and most dings removed, and waxed. ... moreThe canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. Sterling Bronze Company Antique Wall Sconces
Antique wall sconces from the early 20th century(Remains Lighting Company of New York has estimated the age to be circa 1900-1910) These are a pair of solid brass wall sconces from the famous"Sterling Bronze Company" of New York. Late 1800's- early 1900's. They are Baluster form. Double light sconces in their original finish. They have fluted arms and turned wax pans/ candle cups. Their approximate dimensions are. Height 17 1/4" width 10 3/4" depth 6 1/4" Their weight is approximately 7 pounds each(total 14 pounds) They are in very good condition. But there is some wear that you would expect from an antique. Their patina is slightly worn in some areas. There are a few random paint"sprinkles" from a house repaint in the 1960's. The back side of one of the sconces is missing the back wall hook/holder ... moreand as a solution to hanging the sconce safely, a small hole was drilled at the top of the sconce to hang it on the wall securely(see picture) Rewiring the wall sconces would also be advisable, although they were in working condition when they were last attached to the wall before removal. These beautiful solid brass wall sconces came from an eleven bedroom mansion located along the Historic Main Line in Rosemont Pennsylvania. The architect of this mansion was Frank H. Furness(1839-1912) Acclaimed American Architect of The Victorian Era. I had these wall sconces appraised by Ball and Ball. Hi folks! here for your bidding consideration is this victorian era original candleabra framed wall sconce. I believe the piece to be made from bronze and brass and it measures 17" long from the top of the bow to the very bottom underneath the middle candle holder and just a little over 11 1/2" across the center front outside edge. Also measuring just shy of 11 1/4" from the back inside edge where a mirror or picture would be held and 36 1/2" all the way around the circle frame. As seen it has 3 seperate candle holders highly decorated with ornate molded florals& leaves. Detailed raised trim beading and what looks like a hand hammered top bow& ribbons. On the back is missing a couple of metal brackets which hold the mirror or picture inside the frame. The piece looks solid& free any breaks with no signs of ... moreany repairs. This auction is for a lot of 10. Antique brass or bronze wall sconces. These petite sconces are quite unique. They feature a sword or candle holder"handle" design and have nice Arts and Crafts characteristics. They have ornate brass hurricane shade holders. These are very different and were taken out of an old house in central Missouri. The sconces have exposed screw threads on the backs and under the shade fitters. They do not have back plates or shades. They are wired and the wiring is vintage but good. The sconces are very simple for a very clean look. I purchased them at an estate sale on the north shore of Long Island. Each measures 13" wide and 12" tall. They have been rewired and are in working condition but as with any electrical item they should be checked before installation as wires or screws can loosen during shipping. For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed.
