Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. Beautiful ornate all crystal chandelier. These are real crystals not plastic. It takes 8 lights. I will not include the light bulbs. It is 24" without the ball. With the it is 27" long. It is 18" diameter. I bought this house with this chandelier. I do not know if there is any damage to any crystals but it does not appear to be. Beautiful but too large for this foyer. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. It retains its mounting finial(matched by another finial on the bottom of the pan body) original shades, and chain. Note. Too, how the leaf& berry detail ... moreon the shades is matched by the same detail on the socket cups and canopy. Nice. The main pan body is a deliciously narrow oval with two dramatically cantilevered arms. I love it! The brass has been gently polished but not so much as to remove the patina. The wiring is. As mentioned, new, and cloth covered. Imagine the fixture with plastic wiring! Horrors! This fixture is ideal for a bedroom. Hall, or foyer, and would have been seen in most any style home built prior to, say, 1925. Wholly restored. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs. The brass has been polished but not so much as to remove the patina. It has not been lacquered. Each socket has an on/off paddle switch. The fixture can of course be controlled by a wall switch. COLOR: Brass with patina. White shades. SIZE: The fixture is now 33-1/2-inches long. And almost 16-inches wide(shade to shade) I can add or remove chain. CONDITION: The only issue is minor. The upper finial has a small dent. The shades have no chips or cracks. This is a very nice Vintage Brass French Horn Style Chandelier. Has a total of 7 lights/bulbs. Including 6 smaller torch style lamps with shades on the upper part and one larger one on the lower part. Has a nice long Brass Chain approx. 15' long. The power cord runs through the chain and plugs into a regular 110/120V outlet with a switch right in the cord. Measurements are; 21" wide x 20" tall. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. Hello. This is a beautiful old light fixture prob. from the 20's or 30's. It actually looks as if it may have never been instaled. The little springie contact point in the bottom of the sockets(see pics) looks to haver never been pushed down, and I am talking about all 4. Of course the wireing is decayed and needs redone. This sale is for an OLD ornate vintage cast brass/bronze colored metal ceiling light fixture- made by Hedco Inc(marked"N.Y. 10 N.Y. No cracks or damage. It is approximately 8 inches across. The set screws are intact and thread in and out freely. It has four mounting holes; two are approximately 2.75 inches apart and two are approximately 3.5 inches apart. This fixture will accomodate shade base sizes of approximately 3.5 inches to 4.0 inches. Some tarnish is present but it could easily be cleaned and restored. Antique 1920's Brass Ceiling Light Fixture Open Flower Design. Great old antique light fixture that is fresh out of a college dorm lobby built in 1927. I didn't see if light was working but. It was still being used, the campus came thru and removed all the bulbs from all the fixtures. The wiring looks and feels very good for a 86 yr old fixture, it will be buyers responsibility to determine safety of wiring. Fixture's base measures 11-1/4" in diameter and stands 7-1/4" tall to top of lamp sockets. Each lamp socket has a push base switch 2 of them switch good a 2 don't switch so good. Base of fixture is made of thin metal with socket stucture made of thick material which is brass.

This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. It has an overall height of 36-3/4” from top of canopy to the bottom tip of the finial) The widest point of the ... morefixture is approximately 22” measuring to the edges of shades. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. They are marked"Edison Patents 250V 50 C.P" The paddle key switches are marked“Bryant” The 2-1/4" shade fitters are marked"PAT. DEC 9. 90 SEPT 29,96" The three matching holophane style glass shades are in excellent condition. Early 1900's brass 3 light. Flush mount, celling fixture. Has been painted white. Brass is stamped with flower pattern, that repeats 3 times. All three sockets are there, complete, and look orginal. Antique Brass Light Fixture Hanging Pull Chain Hallway Closet Stairway Ceiling
Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. It measures 12" long. The part that mounts to the ceiling is 4 1/2" ... morediameter, about 3" long. Socket is 2 1/2" long. This is a really neat antique light fixture that would great in a staiway or hallway. vintage brass single light ceiling fixture with old hp shade + edison socket
This is a very nice ceiling fixture circa 1890-1910 with a fine old holophane shade and an Edison socket. It hangs from ceiling to bottom of shade about 12.5 inches. The socket appears to be good though I don't know if the socket is complete inside. I think it is. I have seen older Edison socket with a different interior.but I do think this is OK. Feels as if the switch is working well. The fixture is exactly like it was when removed from the ceiling of an old building recently. Has all hanging hardware in the cap. All old solid brass. I will refund any excess above actual shipping cost.

Here is a nice vintage hanging light. Nice art deco. It holds 4 bulbs. The center bulb is a large size porcelain socket. The three arms take standard size bulbs. The body is made of iron. The arms are made of nice decorative brass. About 10 inches tall and 7 inches wide. I do not know exactly how old it is but it is an old one. It has aging and wear with some stray paint on the brass. Paint is peeling on the iron body, it is still very nice. It has socket recepticles but will need to be rewired if you intend to use it. Sold as-is, not tested for working condition, wiring is old. Antique Art Deco Brass and Ceramic Flush Ceiling 3 Light Fixture
This is an antique art deco style ceiling light fixture with three socket that hangs flush up against the ceiling. It base and scroll arms are all brass. The decorative socket covers are cast iron, and the sockets are ceramic. The wiring will need to be replaced, and a bracket with a stem and finial will be needed to hold the fixture on your ceiling. The fixture has art deco designs stamped into it and is painted brown, red, black, and gold. It measures about 13" across and the middle comes down about 4" from the ceiling. Vintage large art deco brass school store industrial ceiling light fixture
For sale is a vintage 1930 1940 school house industrial ceiling light fixture pendant light. The fixture hangs down from the ceiling about 50 inches. It could be easily shortened by taking out links in chain and shortening wire or it can be extended down further for those who have very high ceilings since there is another additional 32 inches of wire that extends past the canopy. Just add the desired length of links and you won't have to rewire since the extra wire is already attached. It has a great art deco milk glass shade that measures about 9 inches tall and about 12 inches wide at widest part. It has a six inch opening and is in great shape without any cracks and only minor flea bites along the edge of opening(see pictures) Very minor and does not interfere with the beauty of function of item since it fits inside the shade holder ... moreand is not seen. The shade holder and canopy are solid brass with a shiny finish(I don't think it is lacquered and will age to a beautiful antique brass finish over time. The fixture is in excellent working order with new wiring and a new porcelain bulb holder. This is a great vintage Art Deco light that is becoming harder to find in this size and in this excellent shape. It will add a great vintage industrial look to the room you place it in.
